I thoroughly recommend this hotel in Scottsdale and it won't break the bank. Breakfast is included here which was ok excluding the sausages and the egg but as it is free one shouldn't complain. It's in a great position for traveling around Scottsdale. The room was very nice and the pool had a nice tree shaded side which was important due to temperatures well over 100 degrees Would definitely use again
While technically a suite, it feels a bit more like an extended hotel room with a cubby in the corner holding a microwave and mini-fridge. I enjoyed the king bed suite which came only with the one TV (which is just fine, I never actually use the TV when traveling alone), a couch, and desk space. One added amenity I appreciated was the ceiling fan. I was able to work comfortably from the desk area and adjust temperature very quickly. The desk area had adequate charging options (I only wish the bedside tables had better outlets). The hotel is in a nice area and felt very safe. I will likely stay here on my next visit to town!
Room was bright, clean, large with separate sitting area. A pretty good breakfast was served in the lobby (items changed slightly from weekday to weekend it seems). Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking. It's located quite far to the north, but Phoenix is so spread out and it's pretty close access to the freeway anyway (101 Loop). A few restaurants quite close. A nice pool area... but no changing rooms (I'd prefer not to walk back through the lobby in my wet swimsuit!). Also no actual wardrobe in the bedroom which I thought was a bit odd. But overall quite a nice place.
Great hotel and very clean. Nice staff members. All of them were helpful but Kelsea went beyond the call of duty to make sure I was accommodated after traveling from Denver with kids and a dog. My husband who is in Boston working spoke with her first and raved about how great she was. And I agree 100%. This young lady deserves a bonus, raise, and a promotion. I don't exaggerate when I am writing reviews so to the manager of Spring hills who is reading this, Know that Kelsea is a Gem and she went beyond the call of duty to help my family and I two days in a row. Thank you for employing such an amazing caring person.
Even before arriving Kelsey was helpful. She was able to combine a reservation from Courtyard next door to this property my family was staying at for my mother's 75TH birthday, because my sister was bringing her dog...Thank you Kelsey for your willingness to work with our needs. Paul, went above and beyond by going out to provide treats for the pet...How thoughtful! The whole staff made our 2 days memorable with such good service and accommodating our needs... Trevor at the Courtyard during HAPPY HOUR, brought a water in a bowl for our pet..While we enjoyed their lovely patio...How thoughtful!!! Thank you all for such a fabulous experience!!!
The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was efficient and friendly and the breakfast was good. The walls are very thin...we shared our neighbor's cell phone conversation both into the late evening and then again when she started in the morning! Suggest staying at the Courtyard across the parking lot.
Stayed here for the attendance of the Arabian Show. Breakfast was great, rooms large, comfy beds and perfect location with tons of dining options minutes away! Lobby was modern, and staff accommodating. Do be advised if you're looking for connecting rooms, you MUST call the day before arrival. We made our reservations MONTHS in advance and they were not able to get us rooms together, even though we checked in early :(
This hotel is located in mid north Scottsdale. The front desk was friendly and accommodating when we arrived. The room was nicely made up and clean. They have a small workout room and a complimentary breakfast. My only 🙁is the beds are very hard.
When driving to the hotel, recognize you need to take a side street off of Scottsdale Road to get into the hotel area. Arrived at about 9:00 for a one night stay and was greeted by a friendly staff member. They offered me a room on the first, second, or third floor. Based on other reviews here, I chose the upper floor hoping for a quiet evening. Got to the room and it was right across from the ice maker (not in a separate room) so I was concerned--but turned out to be a non-issue and had a good, quiet sleep. Bought the room on Priceline (Express Deal) for $81.00 plus another $16.00 for taxes and fees. Parking, Internet and Breakfast are all free. Thought the price for the room was excellent and would absolutely stay again. By the front desk there are a couple refrigerator with juices, ice cream and the like (no booze). Closest place to pick up some wine and beer is at the CVS about a 3 minute drive away. The pool was right outside the back door and was wonderful. It was large with plenty of lounge chairs for use the next morning. Very nice! Now the room--very roomy, suite style room with a half wall divider. It was very clean and very nice sized. You walked in and there was a long desk to the left. Had one light on the desk, but plenty of plugs for computer, charging devices etc. next to the desk was a 3 foot refrigerator and a microwave and coffeemaker. Fridge worked great (other than vibrating loudly where a washcloth under it solved the problem). Not a great coffee selection, but that was fine given there was a nice breakfast. There were two televisions mounted on the wall--one by the desk and one by the bed. There is a couch across from the desk with a small coffee table. Couch was not the most comfortable, but that is probably because it was a pull out sleeper. There was a king size bed that was nicely done. Noisy to move around on at night, but still very comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Towels were fine, newer, not worn, and decent sized. It was clean and no issue. The only funky thing about the room (very minor) was the closet was covered by a curtain. Kind of cheap, but still fine. Also, because of two televisions, there were two remotes. However, when trying to turn off/on one tv. They would both turn off/on. My bill was left under the door the next morning and it was accurate. Breakfast was from 6:00 - 9:00 and was pretty standard for a hotel, nothing great, but provided both warm and cold food, coffee, milk, juice, breads, cereals, eggs, etc. Given it was included in my price, there is no room for complaints. Bottom line, I have stayed at many, many hotels around the country and around the world. This was very nice for the price and I would recommend for business, family, or couples.
Pros- very clean inside and out, super friendly staff, good but basic breakfast, pool area is shaded, ample amount of parking, places to eat within short walking distance, shuttle will take you within 5 miles. Cons- beds need to be replaced, like sleeping on a bouncey piece of wood. You can hear pretty much everything through the walls into hallways and next door. Would look to stay again but will bring earplugs next time
