when I checked in, they gave me the wrong room. This is the second time that’s happened. I was supposed to have the club suite was two beds and they gave me the club suite with one bed. I went downstairs with all my luggage and they ended up giving me a regular room with two beds. Had a lot of luggage so I tried to call from the room phone and nobody answered for about 45 minutes. I ended up going back downstairs and waited 30 minutes to get the right room and they made me feel like it was my fault then I got the wrong room. It’s too bad cause this place is really nice and I love the area.

The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated the vouchers for room service and the little welcome pack with drinks and snacks! The only blight during my stay was the appalling customer service at the gift shop in the hotel - I have never experienced such outright rudeness. I would definitely the Renaissance Downtown to people looking to stay in downtown Phoenix!

The staff was great. The fitness center clean and convenient. Walkable to Chase Field. Room was clean but needs updating. Stained carpet etc.
