Stayed here due to location. Less than a 10 minute drive to Philly airport. That being said you should expect some noise from air traffic. Directly on the river. Room was in good condition. Looks like it was recently updated / remodeled. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. No pool. Decent business center area.
The hotel itself is very nice but oh boy it way out in the burbs with nothing local to eat or drink . Parking was easy as the lot is huge , this is not next to the airport by any shot but was convenient for a meeting and stay over
This is a decent hotel for the price. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is nice, and the hotel is clean. There doesn't seem to be enough staff in the evening/at night, so the check in line gets pretty long and they run out of coffee for extended periods of time.
It is sad to say this experience makes me say I will never stay at a holiday inn again. After trying to cancel due to a family emergency and getting zero consideration a friend took the reservation. So I would not be out $100s. The hotel was old, run down, and ran out of coffee each morning at breakfast. It was close to the airport and soccer stadium but the managers were rude.
Convenient to airport, but far enough away to be quiet. There is a decent Italian eatery (BYOB) within a few blocks walking distance. I asked the hotel staff for a bottle opener and was disappointed that they did not have one.
My daughter stayed here on 7/10/17 at the last minute because her flight was cancelled. Rebecca at the front desk went above and beyond to help my daughter book a room and get to the shuttle. I have rarely experienced such exceptional customer service from a hotel employee and cannot thank her enough! Hotel location and shuttle service was excellent
During this stay was a large show in the city thus hotel rooms were booked or overpriced. Selected this hotel since the next day an international flight was scheduled and could do some work in the room before the flight. The staff are great here, go out of their way to help. Location is isolated with no car as restaurants are a little away, however the hotel shuttle will drop you off if needed. Internet was terrible. You could sit on the bed and get a signal but not at the desk. And even on the bed, the signal would drop. Internet is expected today, it's not an option.
Yes, this is one the many hotels that are owned, managed and run by desis, And it shows in the quality which is totally below par. We were given an accessible room so it was quite spacious with a large bathroom. However, since it had a walkin shower with a shower curtain that was useless, water ran everywhere. The location is in some run down area adjacent to some kind of water body. As is typical of all Holiday Inn and similar category hotels in the USA, breakfast is pathetic and downright inedible consisting of industrial quality unhealthy, processed items. The place was dotted with various rednecks and other strange characters who were lapping it all up. It is expensive for the location and quality.
First of all, Rebecca at the front desk is first rate. She helped us with everything from accessing the internet to getting us a cab. The hotel was clean & convenient to the airport. They have a patio out back near the river which was a great place to take a beer or glass of wine. Decent breakfast buffet & easy shuttle to PHL.
