I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Airport/Ridley Park, and unfortunately the experience fell far below Marriott standards. While the front desk staff was friendly at check‑in, everything declined afterward. Upon entering the room, we found the toilet paper already used, the body wash completely empty (forcing us to shower with shampoo), and the original wall thermostat removed, leaving an open electrical cavity exposed. The walls and furniture were stained, the drawers did not open or close properly, and overall cleanliness was poor. Inside the shower, the lower corners were filled with grime and a brown, slimy residue that was truly unpleasant. Common areas were also poorly maintained. Breakfast was chaotic: limited variety, no restocking of pastries, bread, dairy, or fruit even with an hour left, and the service closed 30 minutes earlier than the posted holiday schedule. A maintenance worker chose breakfast time to replace light bulbs, and housekeeping staff had to use guest elevators with their carts, suggesting the service elevator was unavailable. These issues reflect a serious lack of management oversight and a failure to uphold the basic standards of the brand. I hope upper management addresses these concerns promptly.

Room was clean. Only issue was parking and it was not anyone's fault is was a weekend where travel teams were in the area. No biggie. Front desk staff was amazing the AGM was nice and assisting everyone. Housekeeping was nice we had a issue with the tv and she was there in 1 min literally. fixed it and showed us how in case it happened again. I would stay again this time hopefully we can use the pool. breakfast smelled so good we didn't stop we were on the way home to the kid. 10/10

Kareem was a pleasant staff member at check in. He was personable and very helpful. Checked us in an hour early, which was great because we traveled 2 hours and arrived earlier than expected. He also was very helpful with other info about the area and the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is limited.

We only needed a quick overnight while in the greater Philadelphia area for my husband's business, but this served the purpose perfectly. Easy on and off 95 in what felt like a reasonably safe area, with a great Cracker Barrel, Wendy's, and gas station nearby, we had just what we needed within reach. The staff at the front desk was just lovely and very helpful. The room was spotless clean, which is always my biggest concern. Only thing that would make it 5 states vs 4 is: the for to the bathroom didn't stay closed (and with a sliding door, you really need that!), the bed was too soft (no support, though hubby slept just fine), and breakfast options were very limited. But truly, notanything that would prevent me from staying again. Shower pressure was EXCELLENT, which is a rare find these days, and there were plenty of luggage carts to bring our things in and out. Great work, guys!
