Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport

3.0 out of 5.0

Lumpy pillows, lumpy beds, the smell of marijuana wafting thru the hallway ....it's like a glorified crack-house

Pros: restaurant inside hotel. Friendly staff. Easy check-in. Good Wifi. Balconies outside rooms. Cons: Stiff beds, TV cannot be adjusted for brightness/contrast making everything bland (I switched rooms and found it to be common) or sound (be cautious when changing channels or you'll get blown away by volume) worn furniture, long ride into Philly, not much nearby. Summary: Nice place on the surface. Depending on the purpose of your stay, it is sufficient if you don't look too close and are willing to overlook areas of improvement.

The hotel website promoted free parking and shuttle to the airport. They did not indicate that the free parking was only for one night. Other hotels made it very clear that they offered valet or discount rates for long-term parking. It was very misleading.

Overall the hotel needs lot of remodeling the room ceiling was half way painted/finished the toilet was running all night long and the staff was not as attentive as they should be with the guest.. Nobody ask me if I needed help with my luggage which I needed and no one asked how was our stay...

Came in late. The room seemed ok but I found out it had bed bugs

The hotel was pretty good. Enjoyed my stay, and felt that the staff was very good.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was excellent, however, the bathrooms are small and the hotel can not guarantee the room selected on travel sites. Overall, would still recommend.

Great room. Just minutes from Philly and all the attractions. Great restaurant, pool, and staff. No complaints at all. Would definetly recommend.

Close to Philadelphia. Free shuttle to train at airport which seniors can ride for $1.00. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I ended up staying at the Clarion because it was the only hotel that I could find when I was stuck at Philadelphia airport (thanks to USAir). It took a long time for the van to pick me up (despite assurances that it would come quickly); it didn't help that the van was marked Park & Jet (with a small obscure "Clarion" on the side), which is something I wasn't warned about when I called. The hotel was also quite noisy. Someone told me that there as a biker's convention there (!). I managed to sleep anyway, but others didn't.

It was clean. Staff was very helpful with everything we needed. Rooms was in great condition. Not much within walking distance but a short cab ride to anywhere you wanted to go.

OK for the business traveler or for conference meetings. Clean appearance, lobby, restaurant, lounge, room, facility. AC in room very noisy. Close to airport, free shuttle. Not much available in walking distance.

This was a nice hotel and convenient for both the airport and Lincoln Financial Field. We arrived late on a busy holiday weekend and was met with a room that was not quite ready for us. The staff quickly made it right with free breakfast during our stay. Well done.
