This hotelbos in a great location literally walking distance to virtually everything- across the street from musee of decorative arts; 3 blocks from Louvre; at the Tuillerie Gardens: L' Orangerie just the other end of those Gardens; 10 minute walk to D'Orsay. Hop on Hop off Bus about 12 minute walk. We had room facing the Statute of Joan of Arc-Tuilleries and of course the Eiffel Tower!! Views dont get much better in Paris! Staff was excellent! Only minor gitch was in room coffee service was spotty.

Fantastic location. Great, friendly staff will help with anything. We had a Jr Suite with Eiffel Tour view and a small Romeo & Juliet balcony... it was PERFECT. Insanely romantic. If you have an Eiffel view... don't forget to look out your window at it every night after sunset on the hour for a special show!

Hotel was convenient to everything 100 yds from Metro entrance within sight ( Tuileries station of the Paris métro line 1) . Louvre next door across the street. Made everything easily walkable including transfer from CDG. Never needed any private transportation. Nored Dame, 4 Metro Stops away or easy walk. Many very nice restaurants within 10 minute walk (40+). Rooms exceptionally quiet and spacious. Versailles easy to get to by Metro as well. Hotel is on the Yellow #1 Metro Line. Would not consider staying any place else if returning to Paris. Minimal language barrier, and appeared to be in middle of fashion district.

Front service management is not giving the best instructions to make customers happy.

Friendly and helpful. Full service attitude perfect location and extremely clean and elegant. I go often and recommend 100%.

Well situated near the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay with excellent view of the distant Eiffel tour, the Hotel Regina is a good choice for a Paris trip.

Location Location Location! This hotel is very nice. It is old, and the rooms are old, but in a good way. The ceilings must be 12 ft tall, with grand thick curtains. You feel like you're in the Louvres. So you really feel like you're living like the kings. The bathrooms are updated, though, with every convenience. The only down side is that the room had no coffee/tea maker, and the rug is a bit on the grungy side. But the housekeeping keeps everything spotless. The staff is super helpful. This hotel is a fantastic value.

beautiful location.. just across the street from the Louvre.. staff...friendly... hotel seems charming at first, but the room was a little disappointing... and we were supposedly upgraded to a suite.

Who says the French aren't friendly. The entire staff was fabulous! We talked to 3 concierge members, 4 front desk clerks, 2 bellman, and 1 cleaning lady, all were very helpful. Concierge Cathy worked very hard and got us a table @ Moulin Rouge Sat. Night! Our cleaning lady found me a wine bottle opener late one evening. The front desk arranged 200 euro withdrawal from our credit card sans fees. Wow! Louvre across the street. It doesn't get better for location and service.

Since you're not booking with the hotel directly, there's a disconnect between the hotel room you book on Orbitz and what you actually get. The Orbitz website must be much more specific about what is actually promised. When we arrived at our hotel and we were shown our room it was absolutely substandard by modern standards: double bed (not large enough for 2 adults, and we each weigh less than 150 lbs.), no dresser to store clothes (only a narrow closet), worn carpeting, bathroom that had a floor vent through which bad smells emitted. Room 138. We paid for a room upgrade after the 1st night. Also, there was a question about internet access, which I believed was gratis but which the hotel staff said was not.

The Hotel Regina was quite charming. The room had a view of the Eiffel Tower and furnished very nicely. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. We were able to get into our room upon check-in. (8 a.m.). The Louvre is across the street and within walking distance of other sites. Plus it is near two underground stations. A tour bus compamy is right next door so it was very convenient to use that for several things. I would definitely recommend the Regina.

The Hotel Regina is a beautiful hotel. The hotel is lovely in a very old style European way. A word of caution - if you want American style amenities not the hotel for you. By that I mean high end health clubs. The property is perfect for someone wanting to feel what it is like to stay in a european property.
