After going through a rough Airbnb stay nearby, we ended up booking last minute at Hotel Malte. All I can say is that the staff are all amazing, they made sure we were taken care of from the moment we came in to the moment we left. Definitely some of the best hotel staff i've ever experienced. The rooms were great and beds were comfortable, the breakfast was also pretty good. A special thanks to Gemma who took great care of our group, she was wonderful.
We stayed at the Hotel Malte for a couple of nights and couldn't have been happier. Room was small but more than adequate for our needs and the location unbeatable. Away from main roads and any loud bars etc. but literally a 5 minute walk to the Louvre and Seine. Staff were great, always helpful and friendly - especially Jean-Pierre who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The 24 hour complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge was unexpected and a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend.
We were only in Paris for one night and the staff at this wonderful hotel were amazing and left us wanting to stay longer. We arrived early morning before check-in and the staff, Gemma in particular, were very friendly, helpful and accommodating of our situation. They provided breakfast gratis, and kept our luggage, allowing us to explore Paris on our limited time. We returned to the hotel and they had already checked us in, upgraded our room for free, and delivered our luggage. The room was clean and included a free minibar of water juice and drinks. The food was delicious and the wait staff kind and expedient. The hotel itself has a trendy design with beautiful historical touches in the furniture and paintings. Price was excellent for the service alone in addition to the amenities which you have access to at any of their other 15 hotels in the city. I highly, highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Paris, and look forward to staying here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience Hotel Malte! Cheers!
I rarely am impressed by hotel service but the staff at Hotel Malte was hands down the best I’ve experienced in any city! Everyone was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms were clean and fairly big. The interior was beautiful. Also, very close walk to most dining and shopping. A special thank you to Gemma at the front desk who made our stay extra special. She went above and beyond at every step. Absolutely fantastic experience and I recommend them fully.
This is a charming hotel on a side street in Paris. It has a quaint courtyard, the rooms were a nice size with windows that opened up looking over the courtyard. There was an area where food and snacks could be had all day long. the breakfast area was quaint. The service was amazing. Gemma the front desk receptionist was so cute and welcoming! My only complaint was that is was warm in Paris when we were there in October and the AC had been turned off. I would recommend this charming hotel and i would be glad to go back and stay there again!
It's somehow difficult to rare this hotel. Of course, the location of great and staff helpful, however, there are many smaller flaws which make me not to comes back. 1) The double bed consisted of two single beds next to each other with the habit to move easily in the room.... We ended up having a huge (20-50cm) between the beds and needed to sleep separately. Or would be sooo easy to attach the beds with each other..2) The bathroom was the tiniest one I've ever seen. When showering, you couldn't avoid flood the toilet and many other things... Furthermore, it didn't have a ventilation nor window... 3) It's very clairaudient. Someone in a room (hopefully) closeby was listening to some music probably played from his mobile and have that impression, that he's listening in or room. Let alone the snoring and other noises of human origin. 4) Even after asking upfront, the allergens weren't declared at the breakfast and the information given was not really sufficient. This as well, could be sooo easily corrected.
We stayed at this hotel several times and were never disappointed. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, breakfast is usually very good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Last but not least, the location is absolutely great (heart of Paris). Many thanks and looking forward to our next stay at Hotel Malte!
Everyone in this hotel knows how to treat guests. They are wonderful...starting from the hotel manager to all employees. They are prompt and made sure we are taken care of. It is nice to have breakfast and all day drinks. Also, the room rate is very reasonable and close to everything that we wanted to visit. You will be very happy to stay here.
We arrived around 11am. To our surprise and joy they had our room ready. They offered to help us with our luggage but we declined. At first glance of the room you see how small it is. I was expecting this based off other reviews of this hotel and other hotels in Paris. There were no drawers to put clothing but two shelves. That to me was a little annoying as it was a little awkward to reach the top shelf. Second thing I noticed was the temperature in the room. I would guess it was close to 80 degrees. I called down and asked how to turn on the air because I could not figure it out. I was told that the cooling system had been switched off for the season. In their defense it was unseasonably warm for this time of year. I asked for a fan and told they don’t have one today but would have one for me the next day. I was upset because the first day I did have a little trouble falling asleep but once I was out I slept well. Next am I received a call saying they had a fan for me and they were taking 40% off my entire stay. That was a savings of almost $300. I did not ask to be compensated so I feel they went above and beyond. The next couple nights were cooler and with the fan the room was perfect. The bathroom was odd shape. It wasn’t that small but toilet was very very close to tub. That is not a big deal but worth mentioning. Every Am they had a great breakfast with cured meats, bacon, sausage, pastries, crepes and other items. The service was great too. As others said they also had drinks and pastries all day. Would i stay here again? The answer is 100%
