We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the Auto Train which we were putting our car on down to Nice the next morning. It was our first time using it so we wanted to make sure we stayed nearby. The hotel is in a quiet area, a mixture of offices and shops. We paid for parking overnight which is secure and located over the road from the hotel. It was 18euros. We also had our small dog and were charged 18euros for her (bit excessive). Room was very small but clean. There is a small bar, class of champagne was €8.5 which I thought was excellent. We got an über to the Eiffel Tower and it cost us €30 for a 35minute journey and again we thought this was excellent as it was just like being chauffeur driven there in an excellent car. We didn't eat at the hotel but the breakfast area looked very busy the next morning. You would really need a specific reason like we did for choosing this part of Paris. It served its purpose for us.

I want to share my experience at #Kyriad hotel Paris at Bercy Village. This was our first trip to Paris and used # booking.com to accommodate our stay for 2 nights in Paris. We arrived at night and woke up early morning to venture the city. Before we left we noticed that there is no do not disturb sign, so we do not have people come in the room to clean ( as we do with all our hotel stays). I brought along cash just in case for emergencies, but noticed that the safe was not working correctly so I looked all our cash and my wifes Louis Vuitton wallet in our suite cash, and locked with a pad lock. The reason why I kept it in the hotel was because we heard so many stories about people robbing, and stealing your stuff on the street; so to be safe we kept it in the room. Otherwise our whole Europe trip I kept my money in my pocket. When we walked to the lobby we told the desk to make sure no one cleans our room. As we came back to our room that night around midnight we noticed someone came in our room . The suite case I locked was broken into by ripping the zippers open, we checked and they took all our money and my wife's purse. With rage and panic we went to the lobby, and spoke with the front desk. The employee not apologizing or showing concern acted like this was a normal thing. We told him to call the police, and the police who mentioned that they cannot come to the hotel but to have us come to the station to fill out a police report. This was strange that we had to go to the police station for a robbery at a company. We spent 5 hours at the police station explaining to the police who spoke very little English, and using a translator app to explain what happened. When we came back and woke up the next morning some assistant manager named ( Aicha Mbula Matadi) who is very little trained on these issues spoke to us. Expecting the General Manager of the hotel, they showed no care for our situation by sending some assistant at the front desk to handle this matter. This Assistant Manager did not apologize or show care, by trying to blame us for the loss of our items. Remarks that Aicha said were why didn’t you carry your cash or wallet with you? Why didn’t you come back to the hotel and check on your belongings? What kind of an employee or even a person speaks to people like this! I asked to pull the cameras to see who went into our room, but the Hotel informed me that there are no cameras in the HALLS. What hotel doesn’t secure the hall ways with cameras especially being a 3 star chain hotel???? Then she provided me a list of people that entered into out room since the only way you can get in is with a key card. It shows 3 people of the cleaning crew coming into our room, after we informed them that day to "NOT TO CLEAN OUR ROOM"! 1stperson went in and then was inspected by the supervisor 1 hour later, and then the 1st person reentered the room 2 hours after the supervisor, but was not rechecked afterwards. This shows suspicion that the 1st person came back in to rob us. If I was a Supervisor that was inspecting the room, and noticed a suite case ripped open and a room a mess I would report this to the Hotel; followed by searching the employee who last went into the room. Unfortunately, there was no final check by the supervisor and the 1st person who went in knew of this. Trying to get better understanding and the process on what the hotel was going to do, the Assistant Manager had this smug look on her face that showed no care and tried to blame us for the incident. She was rude to my wife and everything we were trying to communicate with her just went in 1 ear and out the other. The front desk manager Edward was just listening, and no course of action to their employees which felt like talking to a wall. It felt like the employees are so used to this happening at the Hotel that they did not care. For an Employee to have little concern for a customer's invade of privacy represents the quality of the company. The no care attitude and disrespect shown to us was uncalled for, I wish no one to receive this type of service coming from a service industry. After letting out all our concerns and frustrations we noticed the cleaning crew leaving the building around 13:00. Now these employees had no Kyriad uniforms, and them getting into an unmarked transportation vehicle. This informs me that Kyriad outsources there cleaning crew to a third party company. To recap It has been over 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from the hotel, police, and consulate. For us not to complain anymore the hotel said going forward the hotels insurance will be contacting you, and MIGHT give you something. We have not heard back from them as well. Using booking.com I thought I was safe by using this hotel since they have quality standard checks, but I was wrong and will not go through them again. I will spend the extra money and stay at a Marriott or Hilton directly booking on their sites. For anyone reading this and I hope everyone does be aware that Kyriad Hotel does not have Security Cameras in there hall ways, has no respect of customers privacy, does not hold their employee responsible or there contracted cleaning crew, and disrespect to the people that pay for their services. We have lost a lot in Paris due to Kyriad Hotel, and hope that everyone chooses some other Hotel for their stay. #expedia.com #trivago.com #booking.com #tripadvisor.com #google.com A Customer that has been robbed of their belongings

The hotel is in Bercy village - not far from the action but far away enough from the very centre of Paris to feel safe. The area is nice and we never felt uneasy even late at night, and there are enough decent local restaurants to try if you stay for a few days. The hotel itself is quite modern and trendy (not so much to put off older guests though!) and extremely clean. The staff spoke excellent English and even the housekeeping employees said "Bonjour" when you passed by. The double room was on the small side but if you are not going to spend much time in there then it would be fine. Would definitely recommend and will probably stay there again!

We spent two nights at KYRIAD and unfortunately didn't get much sleep. Walls are not sound proof. All night we could hear our neighbours on both sides snoring and the people above us walking around. Okay for what we paid. Bercy village has great food and is close by.

The hotel is fine. It is not a 5 start hotel is just an affordable hotel to sleep while you explore Paris. I liked the daily breakfast but there were not too many options so after 5 days I was tired of the same menu. Internet is slow but it works. Rooms are extremely small (including the shower) but once again if you need just a place to shower, change clothes and crash in the evening this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for a high end hotel with a lot of in site different activities this is not the hotel for you. Nice Gym and Fitness center, lovely area (Bercy Village is a very nice and beautiful area) close to the Metro and RER transit and professional staff. I would stay again.

Excellent weekend spent here to watch a concert at the Accor arena Perfectly situated a 5 minute walk from many bars and cafes in both directions and the same distance from the metro Clean, tidy rooms. Tad small but we were only sleeping so didn't need anything too fancy

Great budget hotel in a safe area. It is a few minutes from the Tour St-Emillion metro (14) station. The rooms are compact but adequate for getting ready and sleeping in and the beds were comfy. The Bercy area is safe and has a variety of restaurants and shops and is extremely close to the Metro. The hotel offers breakfast and there is enough to suit everyones tastebuds, there is a bar which also serves snacks.

Poor customer service, internet was not working properly, cold hot shower, cleaning lady with terrible manners. Rooms were a lot smaller than website. Expensive for what it is, better stick to Hotel Ibis if you are looking for good price value. Next time, I will do that. The only positive thing is that the hotel is close to Bercy village but that's pretty much all.

Good value hotel; very quiet but very short distance from Bercy Villafe, metro and Accor Hotels Arena. Perfect for attending concerts, exploring Paris, visiting Disneyland Paris or just an evening out in Bercy Village.

The room is small but basically includes everything you need. It's good for those who just need a place to stay over night. Nothing fancy or romantic. The disabied room at the end of each side is much nicer and larger than the regular ones. There are two Asian restaurants around. The receptionists at night shift could show more passion while interacting with their guests. The location is ok, not too far from tourist sites. The metro nearby has a lift to travel between different levels. The whole area is new (for only 20 years).
