Lovely location of the hotel not that far away from l'Arc de Triomphe. Amazing service! Simply lovely employees and management. We were there because of work. My bf had the brekafast and I opted out. He said that the variety of food was good every morning. The room itself was little but functional. Great bathroom with a bathtub and lovely French shampoos. The view from the room wasn't that appealing - we were facing another building very close to ours. Wi-fi quality in the room was amazing and each of us got a customized password. The only real negative during our stay was the sudden visit of the cleaning lady one of the days at about 1PM. It was strange it happened, because I have had placed the sign - Do not disturb at the door. Apart from this little accident, the rest of our experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend the hotel. The manager does have a full control over the management of the hotel and he is very experienced in customer service - I have been helped by him the day I was supposed to check-out. He was super attentive to me and my needs.
I really can recommend this hotel! The room was clean and quiet. Also the size of the room was very pleasant-I have been in much smaller ones in Paris!!! The bed is comfortable and I woke up without any problems in my back!!! The stuff is very friendly and helpful! They speak different languages and you can still leave your luggage after check out, too. Wifi is free and works fine everywhere. A Metro/RER and Bus station is almost in front of the hotel! Also Cafés and a Supermarkt are in front or just around the corner of the hotel. Walking distance 1 minute! I will love to come back and stay in this hotel! Thank you!
Our stay at Hotel Courcelles Etoile was great! We stayed four nights and had a quiet room on the second floor in the back. Small but comfy and location was super convenient. Steps to bus, metro or train and within walking distance to the Arc Du Triumphe! Near cafes, bakery and delicious chocolate shop! Christina and Eric were really helpful and all the staff welcomed us and seemed happy to guide us with our first trip to Paris. Thank you!
This hotel was very chic and nice, right beside the metro and rlr stations... Perfect for 5 days in Paris... The room was of good size for Europe and had an excellent soaker tub in the bathroom... A great cafe is right beside the hotel and is open late... We sat there every night having wine and snacks after sight seeing all day... The staff at the hotel were all very friendly...The location is easy and accessible to the whole city... Stay here... You will like it.
Although it was a short trip, we enjoyed very much our stay in this hotel. We spent 3 nights there and the key points were: - location and access - staff - super friendly, in special Cristina. very helpfull and smile. - confort - indeed the bedrooms are quite small, but super cozy and enough to have a good rest after a long day walking and getting to know the charming Paris. I definitely would come back to this place in my next trip to Paris
The hotel has a great location, right on the corner of Place Marechal Juin, walking distance to the Boulevards, lots of places to eat and hang out. My room was recently renovated, so everything was perfect and well kept. In true Parisian style my window looked out over a 3 foot wide open space to a concrete wall going up 4 floors, so my view of the sky was a thin strip of blue at the top of a deep well. Presumably a converted storage room or something. The rooms looking over the main street are presumably a bit nicer
We stayed for 2 nights. Room was more than big enough. Spa bath was great. All the staff we delt were very friendly. The metro station right next to the hotel is very handy. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Road is a bit noisy but nothing that keeps you awake. Would definitely visit again
I returned to the Hotel Courcelles Etoile because of the central location - 15 minutes from Gare du Nord, right next to the metro, across the street from taxi stand and close to Parc Monceau. The neighbourhood is quiet with nice boutique shops, good restaurants to choose from (a great Indian around the corner). I stayed in a room on the back side of the hotel (not street facing) and it was calm, clean room, breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I needed some work documents printed urgently and they gladly helped me.
Sure the rooms are small, but I found them larger in comparison to some of the other rooms I've stayed in in Paris. Rue de Courcelles is not the a-typical tourist street. I liked that. Limiting yourself to super touristy hotels and areas never gives you a flavor of the true Parisian lifestyle. This street does, with local cafes, bakeries, florists all within a 3 min walk from your hotel room.
The hotel is very easy to reach by metro and is located in a very good location. Staff vey nice and helpfull, room clean and quite, good breakfast. Next door you can find brasserie and bar for a drink or to dine. I would come back.
