We stayed in room 601, nice large room with balcony. The beds where so comfortable. The staff was very welcomming and did everything to make our stay perfect. The rooms where very quiet, no trafick noise. Will be comming back next year.
This hotel is a boutique hotel. The rooms are decorated in a modern style. My room was small (16 qm). Location was great . Near Madeleine and metro station.Staff was friendly. Breakfast average. The room was noisy because there were some public constructions in front of the hotel. There was no food in the hotel except breakfast.
Hotel gave the impression it had a concierge service but I got no answers when I asked questions before my visit. On arrival welcome was mediocre. Hotel is very small and rooms reflect that with a bathroom that was tiny. Breakfast was very mediocre and value for money overall was poor. On the plus side the hotel is well situated.
The front desk staff were lovely. Most spoke English quite well. We had a room on the first floor (second floor for us North American folks). It was the standard room. It was quite small, but fine for two people. We only had carryons, and I think that if you had a full size suitcase it would be tight. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower is a strange beast. The shower head is a rainfall type, and due to the half glass door and the shower head placement, the floor in the bath room was always wet. The heated towel racks were nice. The location was amazing. Two blocks from the metro station. Tons of restaurants around. Haussman shopping district three block away. We got a good deal by booking 8 months in advance, and I think it was worth it at that price.
This hotel is on a side street in the Madeleine area so quiet at night. Everyone we encountered at the reception desk was very pleasant. The metro was a five minute walk away. The hotel is teeny, only four rooms per floor. The rooms are quite small (exactly as expected for Paris) and modern. The wi-fi was quite good. The breakfast is a continental breakfast buffet which being somewhat limited can get a tad tedious after five days and we had to ask several times for plates, jam, milk etc, but that is a minor quibble. We did smell cigarette smoke in the stairwell a couple times. We would absolutely come back to this hotel when next in Paris.
The hotel is beautiful, the place looks very fancy from top to bottom. Staff very friendly and help with any questions you have. Stayed in a superior room and it was very clean, tidy and extremely spacious. Very close to alot of the sightseeing points. Would highly reccomend.
Although the room was small it had a romantic feel to it and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay here and the location is fantastic on a beautiful Parisian street, close to the Madeleine tronchet subway station. Hotel staff were all friendly.
I'll start with the positive experiences, staff were friendly, helpful and spoke very good English (which helps as my French is at school boy level). We stayed 4 nights in room 502 which was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and effective air-conditioning. The location of the hotel is very good, with plenty of restaurant options nearby. Unless breakfast is included in your room rate, I wouldn't pay extra for it. It was equivalent to breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express, with limited options. Also no breakfast tea was available, just fruit, herbal and green tea options, The tea and coffee was not replaced in our room, so we had to buy some. The mini bar fridge didn't chill very well, but we used it to keep things cool (rather than cold). There were roadworks outside the hotel, as there is in many parts of Paris, but the noise was acceptable - with the double glazed windows closed. Overall this hotel was adequate and in a good location, but we were expecting a higher standard for what we paid. I'm not sure why this hotel has a four star rating, it is closer to a three star establishment in my view.
This hotel is well located within the centre of Paris and walking distance to most attractions. The Reception is a small desk located at the other end of the lobby, you walk past the restaurant area on the left as you approach the reception area. The check-in is quite basic but quick, no information is offered about the hotel or local area. The Rooms are quite nice, a king bed but they are old, the beds are well warn, so ensure you check the mattress as it could be lumpy or sagging. The bathrooms are quite nice and modern. Bedding and linen was comfortable and free Wifi at a good speed. The tea cups are not washed upon service during my stay. Breakfast is all you can eat and can be included if you book it, for coffee, just ask the staff after giving them your room number. The hotel dose not offer laundry services on the weekend - these are expensive, so normal for hotel pricing, best if you find a local shop, maybe reception could help.... There are restaurants located around the hotel for dining options.
Fantastic stay, location is excellent, in walking distance of everything. The morning breakfast sets you up for the day. The staff were very friendly, Mud (that is her name) at the front desk was most helpful and very good at her job
