I bought the room off hotels tonight and paid $100. I think the room is worth around $80 and wouldn’t pay more than that. They advertise having a hot tub which they don’t. The rooms are fine and okay for one person. The bathroom is okay but the shower is a joke. After a shower expect the floor to feel like a boat just capsized in the bedroom. I got a coffee downstairs at their nespreso machine and they charged me 2 EUR lol. Overall I would recommend this for a one night stay in Paris!
Overall was OK, but underwhelming due to the lack of attention to detail in some crucial areas: Mold in the shower Beauty mirror light not working Only one of the two in-mirror lights not working Towels old and holed. Shower design poor: count on a soggy floor in the bathroom area (outside of shower alcove) as there is nowhere for water to run. Patchy paint finish in bathroom gives a “low-rent” feel. No English TV channels, not even the basics such as CNN and BBC World. When mentioned to reception, no fix was forthcoming. We stayed in a 16m2 room, which was OK but tight for a couple with larger suitcases. Suggest a larger room if you’re looking for a little breathing room. This is not a criticism of the hotel, just a suggestion to go a little larger for 2 people. Redeeming features: bed was comfortable and bedding was of good quality. Very good double glazed windows kept street noise well at bay.
Feel let down albeit that some of the following points are not necessarily the hotels fault. Works booking for 8 people only had 3 confirmations. I ended up in room 001 which was in the lobby area. Reasonably sound proofed from within bit on the street level with noisy foot traffic but ok road traffic. Shower / bathroom was spacious but walk in shower wasnt angled enough with a semi blocked drain resultes in a "flood" which i had to spend 10 minutes mopping up. Room smelled of smoke too. Bin men came past every morning between 6am and 6.30am so didnt get a lie in at all. Breakfast was good albeit in a small room as the hotel only had 24 rooms apparently. Receptionists / catering staff were excellent.
We stayed in room 601, nice large room with balcony. The beds where so comfortable. The staff was very welcomming and did everything to make our stay perfect. The rooms where very quiet, no trafick noise. Will be comming back next year.
This hotel is a boutique hotel. The rooms are decorated in a modern style. My room was small (16 qm). Location was great . Near Madeleine and metro station.Staff was friendly. Breakfast average. The room was noisy because there were some public constructions in front of the hotel. There was no food in the hotel except breakfast.
Hotel gave the impression it had a concierge service but I got no answers when I asked questions before my visit. On arrival welcome was mediocre. Hotel is very small and rooms reflect that with a bathroom that was tiny. Breakfast was very mediocre and value for money overall was poor. On the plus side the hotel is well situated.
The front desk staff were lovely. Most spoke English quite well. We had a room on the first floor (second floor for us North American folks). It was the standard room. It was quite small, but fine for two people. We only had carryons, and I think that if you had a full size suitcase it would be tight. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower is a strange beast. The shower head is a rainfall type, and due to the half glass door and the shower head placement, the floor in the bath room was always wet. The heated towel racks were nice. The location was amazing. Two blocks from the metro station. Tons of restaurants around. Haussman shopping district three block away. We got a good deal by booking 8 months in advance, and I think it was worth it at that price.
This hotel is on a side street in the Madeleine area so quiet at night. Everyone we encountered at the reception desk was very pleasant. The metro was a five minute walk away. The hotel is teeny, only four rooms per floor. The rooms are quite small (exactly as expected for Paris) and modern. The wi-fi was quite good. The breakfast is a continental breakfast buffet which being somewhat limited can get a tad tedious after five days and we had to ask several times for plates, jam, milk etc, but that is a minor quibble. We did smell cigarette smoke in the stairwell a couple times. We would absolutely come back to this hotel when next in Paris.
The hotel is beautiful, the place looks very fancy from top to bottom. Staff very friendly and help with any questions you have. Stayed in a superior room and it was very clean, tidy and extremely spacious. Very close to alot of the sightseeing points. Would highly reccomend.
Although the room was small it had a romantic feel to it and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay here and the location is fantastic on a beautiful Parisian street, close to the Madeleine tronchet subway station. Hotel staff were all friendly.
