Would definitely stay there again without hesitation.
This is my first review on TripAdvisor. First and foremost, the positive reviews for Hotel Berne Opera, coupled with the excellent location of the hotel factored into my decision to stay at this hotel. Thank you – Hotel Berne Opera reviewers. The confirmation that this decision was definitely the right choice, goes to the exceptional staff employed by this Hotel. The staff at this hotel made you feel like you were at home (la maison est où le coeur est). We wanted a location with a neighborhood vibe and we lucked out. We stayed here for six (6) nights. I was on the six floor (triple room) and my sisters were on the fourth floor (double room). We were happy with our accommodations. The hotel cleaning staff was awesome. Some days we left to go out between 1 and 2 PM. Upon our return, the room was always cleaned. The hotel is literally around the corner from the M2 Rome Metro Station, as well as the City Supermarket. We mastered the transit system in one day. The best mode of transportation during your stay in Paris is the Metro. Hotel Berne Opera is a top tier boutique hotel and will be our only place to stay on a return visit to Paris. Shout out to the staff for their exemplary hospitality, customer service and excellent representation of the Hotel Berne Opera brand : 1. Mandy/Hotel Website Reservation Rep – I booked my reservation directly from the hotel website (highly recommended – good deals). We were emailing back and forth while working out the reservation/pre-authorization glitch, which was due to Visa suspecting a fraudulent purchase. Thank you! 2. Louisa/Front Desk Rep – We truly appreciate the warm greeting when we arrived. We arrived early and our rooms were not ready. While waiting for our room, we overheard Louisa recommending the shuttle service to the airport to a departing guest. It was an excellent deal, we jumped on it and pre-booked for our departure on Tuesday, Feb. 27th @ 0500. We had five people in our group (14 euros each). Highly recommend the shuttle service if you have an early flight. The driver was very prompt and nice. 3. Pascal/Front Desk Rep – He is highly knowledgeable on the history and architecture of Paris. We appreciated his recommendations of places to see. We enjoyed our talks/laughs with you. 4. Michael (Miquel)/Front Desk Rep – You were a lifesaver – thanks for helping us with booking our tour to the Palace of Versailles. We will miss our talks/laughs with you! 5. Sasha/Front Desk Rep – Thank you for the pastries and your beautiful smile greeting us as we left for the airport @ 0500 hours.
the room was small but clean and comfortable. Not handicap accessible but in a decent location for walking around the different areas of the city if you enjoy that. We logged over 52 miles and really enjoyed our time. while the bathroom, flooring and closet could have been in better condition the staff was fantastic. Between price, location, service etc. I would definitely book this hotel again.
We arrived too early to check in but staff were more than happy to store our bags so that we could explore the city without delay. All staff were helpful and friendly and provided directions and advice whenever we needed them. We stayed in a Junior Suite for 3 people and found it to be spacious enough and comfortable. The location was excellent - a relatively quiet area with just a few bars, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity but a minute's walk away from the nearest Metro station. All in all we had a brilliant stay and would happily return to this hotel. It provides a great base from which to explore this incredible city!
Just returned from a 3 week European vacation, where we visited several cities and the Berne Opera Hotel was one of our family's favorite hotel during our entire vacation. The staff were amazing! Everyone answered all my questions and went and above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I had originally booked a suite, which wasn't available, but they were very accommodating in that they offered us a triple room with a balcony and free mini bar, which saved us a lot of $$$. Also, the hotel was close to the Roma metro station, which connects you to all the Paris sights in a few minutes. The breakfast was really good. My wife really liked the coffee machine. I'd happily stay here in my next visit to Paris. The price was really reasonable too! It has a very Parisian feeling.
Stayed in a 3 bedroom room for 3 nights with balcony overlooking side streets of Rue de Moscow. Pros - Hotel is close to Metro - Roma station (less than 5 min walk) and Liege station (5 min walk) - Bedroom was a reasonable size for 3 adults - Convenience store located near the corner of Rue de Moscow...very convenient for a late snack trip - Staff were helpful in relation to tourist deals, locations and ensured our stay was comfortable Cons - Bathroom has poor ventilation however opening bathroom and balcony doors aided ventilation - bathtub glass shade was loose, so water was running onto tiles. Overall, my companions and I found our stay at Hotel Berne Opera comfortable and convenient during our stay in Paris. Will recommend to friends and family!
The hotel was in a good location staff where very arrogant except for one receptionist Michel wich was very helpful the bed was very uncomfortable and noisy the cleaning staff did a shocking job the room was never cleaned properly I would not recommend staying here
I was satisfied in this hotel Nice and kindly people , so the locate is so convenient and good. Breakfast is good. I remember this hotel. If i visit Paris, i will stay this hotel again thank you ^^~~!
This is an ideal hotel for tourists as it is central to all the attractions and is well located in the heart of Paris. The room was clean and of a good size and hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would consider staying there should I return to Paris. We had a typical Paris vista from our balcony.
Clean and nice hotel with a good staff! Good location to visit Montmartre. Ask the room with the balcony with the view to rue Berne. Because I had a room with out balcony and hear a noise from railway station. The breakfast was tasty. Hotel proposed transfer to the airport which was much more cheaper than taxi! I was in a 3 hotels in a Paris but this was the best from them.
