Our family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice, the staff was professional and helpful, and the breakfast, while not huge, was very fresh and the pastries were very good. The phone provided by the hotel came in handy. The location is not central to many of the popular sites, but feels safe and is located within 5 minutes of two metro stops.
My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and provided us with lots of information and recommendations for delicious restaurants. Our room was spotless and very spacious. We were very grateful to be provided with a smart phone (free of charge), which was helpful and a fantastic bonus! The hotel is located near two Metro stations, making it very easy to get to and from Gare du Nord. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. Thank you! We hope to be back again soon!
Stayed 3 nights last week. In summary, it is a beautiful hotel and we highly recommend it. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a train station very close to the hotel. The rooms are a bit small but nicely decorated. The staff at reception is very friendly and helpful (Thanks Teresa!). If you like exploring on foot like we do, you can reach most major attractions within 30-35mins. The breakfast is nice and has good variety of food. We enjoyed the stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Front desk staff was very friendly upon our arrival and through out our stay. Hotel is small and clean. Rooms are tiny and hardly enough room for 2 people. Housekeeping staff were ok, one woman was very sweet and friendly and the other woman we encountered was not nice at all. She wouldn't get us an extra blanket and only offered us one water for our room and one for our kids room ( luckily the front desk has some). Bed was comfortable and complimentary breakfast was good. Fresh juice was delicious!
This is a very nice hotel. Nothing real fancy, but very nice, clean and the people running it were great! We rented a suite with our 10 yr old using the sofa bed. The room was nice, but a little cramped for the three of us. It would be perfect for two. The beds were nice, air worked well, quiet, with a very nice newly updated bath with huge shower. The staff went out of their way to make your comfortable. They even spoke English, which was great. Breakfast was good, nothing special (buffet style), but good. The location was also good. A number of great restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We stayed at Hotel Le Six recently with our 2 children. We reserved 2 rooms and were assigned adjoining rooms, which were 2 hotel rooms (1 with a king bed and 1 with 2 twins). The doors to the rooms are in an alcove with an additional door to the hallway that locks so that we were able to move between the 2 rooms without entering the public hallway. It was a great set-up. This is our 3rd visit to Le Six and we will continue to stay here when we visit Paris. The service is second to none. We were given friendly greetings each time we entered and exited the hotels, provided detailed restaurant recommendations, and assistance with retrieving a lost item from the airport. The breakfast is fantastic, with each item well thought out, prepared and presented. The rooms are exceptionally clean and appointed, with L'Occitane toiletries, Nespresso coffee machine and comfortable beds. There are so many great things about Hotel Le Six but the service is really what sets it apart from other hotels. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I visited this hotel almost 7 years ago and really enjoyed it at the time. I finally had an opportunity to return for a special occasion and was happy to find that it was just as good as I remembered. Before arrival I spoke with the reception via email and they were very happy to help and managed to fulfil my requests (including late checkout up to 2pm). The deluxe rooms are not huge but have plenty of space and are well appointed. The bathroom is fantastic and the bed is huge and very comfortable. A nice touch (definitely new some time in the last 7 years!) was a smart phone with unlimited data and various apps installed available for use. I didn't need it since I can use my own home data in the EU but it would be incredibly useful for those who cannot. Breakfast is excellent, although the hot selection is limited to scrambled eggs and bacon. Staff are attentive and will make coffee/tea to order if the Nespresso machine does not make what you prefer. Having now stayed here twice and had a brilliant experience both times I think it will be hard to look elsewhere the next time I'm in Paris!
We just returned from Paris and were lucky enough to stay at the Hotel le Six. Our room was very clean and the hotel has a very quaint lobby area. Breakfast was excellent as well. I would highly recommend this mid priced hotel. Angela at the front desk deserves a special shout out. She could not be more helpful and speaks excellent english! We will stay there again!
Wonderful service, very nice rooms, helpful staff and a lot nearby to walk to. Especially enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant across the street as the staff recommended. We only stayed 1 night but a great place to stay for longer & super breakfast!
After staying at numerous small, overpriced, and/or out-of-the way hotels in Paris, I have found my new favorite hotel. Just a few blocks from the famous Luxembourg Gardens (as seen in the old movie "Gigi" with Audrey Hepburn), and a pleasant walk from the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, our room was unexpectedly spacious. All of the amenities we needed were provided, including effective and quiet air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was spacious. Everything was immaculately clean. The hotel is on a quiet street a short walk from the Montparnasse train station, and we were also able to walk to the RER station to go to CDG airport. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and tri-lingual.
