The coffee was cold in the lobby, Carpets in the elevator were disgusting. The room door did not fit the opening and in the event of a fire would have been impossible to seal against smoke and heat. There were only two trollies to move luggage. The breakfast room was too cold and the cooling vents made it difficult to find a place to sit. The elevators were very slow. The fridge was not plugged in. The shower pressure on the 4th. floor was totally inadequate and made a shower a long and tedious process. The shower water was so "soft" that it was impossible to rinse off the soap from your body. The staff were friendly, but the many minor problems made it a disappointing stay. The room cost seemed high.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The common areas neat and tidy. Our room was not so tidy and we were told the most they could do was run a vacuum, which they did, because housekeeping had left for the day. There was dust everywhere in our room, crackers and Legos pieces on the floor, toothpaste spray all over the mirror, and the tub was filthy. It looked like they simply replaced linens and towels only. I know staff shortages are a huge factor, but something needs to be done to make sure rooms are clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean also room. Because you couldn’t eat in the hospitality room due to Covid they had a breakfast sandwich, you can pick a bagel or a muffin and orange juice. I would recommend this Hampton Inn Yorkville IL

Stay during COVID. They seem to revolve floors each week. The room was clean, however, there were several dead flys and spiders in the room. This made me think that maybe they do a general cleaning and then send one of thise foggers for the floor. If they did the fogger and this floor hadn't been occupied for 3 weeks, that would explain it. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was requested at front desk and they gave us refrigerated box breakfasts that included a breakfast sandwich (to heat in microwave), fruit cup, muffin, and a yogurt. There were alcohol wipes in the room and the toiletries for shower were still included. It was relatively quiet (weren't many guests there). The only other grip besides the dead bugs was that we were kind of rushed out (check out was at 12 but cleaning staff started asking about 1030 as we started taking stuff to the car) if we were leaving and then even waited outside the room. I'm guessing we were the last room occupied to checkout that day and they wanted to be done for the day.

Checking in and out was quick and easy. Staff was personable. Distancing was easy. Rooms were clean. It was a pleasant overnight stay.

My stay was ok. The clerk was pleasant but messed up on the check in. she sent us to a room that was occupied.

Better than I was expecting. I had a nice time and the hotel is very convenient for events in the far west suburbs.

The rooms were roomy, clean and modern. The staff was VERY accommodating as we in the middle of a snowstorm. Our family get together was enhanced because the hotel's service! Thank you.

Thank you for staying with us! Thank you for your feedback as well, we greatly appreciate it. We do however have hot breakfast items on menu every day of the week. There is always a type of egg, bacon or sausage and potatoes, breakfast bagels or french toast sticks. I apologize if the hot items were not available during the time you were in the breakfast area.
