Had a party Friday 26 and Saturday 27 of August. People firing, banging doors, trying to open our doors. It was a nightmare to stay in this hotel. Can you refund some of the money that we paid ?

The entire staff were not wearing masks and didn’t seem to care we are in a pandemic. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been upgraded since the 1950’s. Definitely too expensive for the condition.

It was clean and very cozy feeling and very reasonably priced.

Very pleasant place to stop. Decor has a hunting lodge theme, but not an overly kitschy one. We booked at the last minute due to a snow storm that turned out to be worse than expected and happened to spot this place while driving past. Zero problems with registration, and there was a welcoming fire in the fireplace of the spacious lobby! Just wish I'd packed a swimsuit, since the pool is open late and there is a hot tub, which sounded absolutely wonderful after coming in from driving in severe winter conditions! The room was quite comfy and and had all the amenities one could wish for. Breakfast was also great! 5 stars from me, and I am prone to be picky about lodgings.

My boyfriend and I were in town for my cousin's wedding and this is the hotel that my cousin recommended on the wedding invitation. Overall it was an ok to nice stay at this hotel. I felt for the price (we paid around $150 a night) the hotel should have been nicer, but I'm guessing the cost was more since it was Mother's Day weekend (we stayed Friday and Saturday checking out on Sunday). The hotel is cutely decorated like a lodge. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. There are no USB charging ports in the room. The handle on the toilet was cracked and had a chunk of it broken off but the toilet still flushed. The tv was small and had subpar clarity. The rooms could use upgrading. Free breakfast is provided. There was a variety of items to choose from including bagels, muffins, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage, and make your waffles. The biscuits and gravy were not good. I stuck with a bagel and cream cheese. The hotel is conveniently located a few miles from the Aurora train street. We drove there and took the train into Chicago. Overall a pleasant stay, but I would not go out of my way to stay here again for the same price. I feel that value was not there. Would not pay over $99 a night to stay at this hotel again.

It was a good experience, this is all I have to say

We had to change hotels at 11p because my husband had difficulty breathing because of the extremely strong deodorizing smell in the room.

OMG! I can't say enough about this place and the staff! My husband and I just live in Yorkville (about 20 minutes away) and needed some time away from the kids and dogs so during my search, I found Americinn. The pictures looked cute and homey so I decided to book it. It had a bed and breakfast type feel once you were inside with hand crafted furniture (chairs, tables...etc), a big cozy fireplace and different sitting areas throughout the common areas where you can just go and sit and relax should you not want to stay in your room. The pool area is so nice and there is even a sauna. Free hot breakfast daily and water, coffee and tea offered all day. Not once did we feel homesick because it was just so cozy. The rooms are spacious and they have several ones to choose from depending on your budget. We stayed at one of the smaller ones but even THAT was spacious. Next time, we plan on booking the one with a whirlpool and fireplace. They are so nice! And if you stop by, make sure you say hi to Donna and John. They are AMAZING people!! Very genuine and sweet! We will DEFINITELY be visiting more. We've found our home away from home should my husband and I just need another staycation just to reset. And we even plan on taking our girls soon! THANK YOU, AMERICINN!! God bless! :)

The staff was wonderful the rooms was big and clean with a fridge microwave and a safe. The pool was fun and the breakfast was good. I would stay again. The price was a little high for the suburbs. That was more of a city rate.

Definitely stay at the Americinn in Oswego IL. Everything about this hotel is just terrific. The staff is super polite, respectful and always ready to answer questions and be of help – whether it’s a question about your stay, restaurants, area events/things to do, directions, etc. etc. The room was clean and maintained very well. I appreciated the complimentary, hot breakfast. The food was very good and the staff makes sure to replenish food supplies in a timely fashion. Add to this all of the amenities, and it rounds out your stay quite nicely.

The staff was very accommodating and the room was large and comfortable

We loved this hotel! It is a well maintained and quaint little spot to get away. It felt like a new hotel and were shocked to hear that it was only 9 years old. We loved the rustic decor and the welcoming feel of it and it's close to plenty of shopping and dining.

A nice hotel in a great location with a friendly staff.

This is a great hotel that has the feel of a family-run business. The staff is extremely cheerful and helpful. Nice breakfast selection, with made-to-order omlets on the weekends. Homemade soup in the evening was an unexpected surprise. Location is close to everything in Oswego and Aurora.

The hotel was very clean and cute decor! The staff was very nice as well...we'll definatly stay there again!

Thank you for taking time to offer sincere feedback and for staying with us. We are in the middle of some projects that include installing USB charging ports and a change in our television service provider. AmericInn remains a family friendly hotel with comfortable amenities and a country lodge feel. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you whilst in town for a wedding.
