Not only is the resort overflowing with things to do its one of the closest high quality resorts to Disney.

The villa is situated in the beautiful Emerald Island Resort, regarded as one of the best resorts in the area. It is located south of H|wy 192 near Mile Marker 5 just minutes from I4. It is approximately 4 miles to the gates of Walt Disney World and within easy reach of both Orlando International and Sanford Airports.

Other Florida attractions such as Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space Center are within easy driving distance. The Gulf Coast can be reached in 90 minutes while the Space Coast can be reached in under one hour.

Emerald Island caters to all members of your family as it has tennis courts, a basketball court, a children's playground, a gym, two communal pools and even a tiki bar the adults!!. The Clubhouse also has a Sauna and a Steam room.

The gated resort has quiet roads and is fully side walked, go for a stroll and along the way you will see many nature walks, as part of the resort is kept as a wildlife reserve. You will be amazed at the quietness of the resort perfect for enjoying relaxing quiet days/evenings around the pool. It's sometimes hard to believe that you are only minutes from the noise of Disney and the tourist areas/shops.

There are many shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Emerald Island Resort is the perfect base to see what Orlando and the rest of Florida have to offer.

The 4 bedroom/2 bathroom home is tastefully furnished throughout and sleeps up to 8 people. The family room offers comfort and entertainment featuring a 55' flat screen smart LCD TV with high-definition, DVD and formal dining area. This leads to the fully equipped kitchen. There is a eating area overlooking the pool perfect for breakfasts in the sun.

Enjoy almost 1,600 square feet under air conditioning, or head out into your own personal pool (recommend heating from Oct - Jan) and covered porch area for relaxing outside. The pool deck furniture consists of a large table with 6 chairs for dining as well as smaller round table and 4 chairs all with cushions. There are 3 loungers for enjoying the Florida sun as well as a safety net along the full length of the pool. There is plenty of privacy at the near as there is a large open space behind the property.
Unlike other properties you can enjoy the pool without the feeling the neighbors are too close!

There are two Master bedrooms, (with King and Queen size beds respectively) the King having its own en-suite bathroom and a safe is provided for your valuables. The third has a twin over full size (double) bunk and fourth bedrooms have twin beds. All bedrooms have flat screen cable TV's - 32' in the masters and 24' in the twins and are all fitted with Firesticks.

The home has a variety of Entertainment options to appeal to all ages. A selection of DVDs, games, books and toys for the pool are available. The main TV also has a Firestick fitted with many streaming services already set up.
Keep in touch with FREE WiFi and long distance calls to anywhere in the US & Canada.

In addition a games room is provided with a pool and air hockey table, with a chill out area (with seating) to entertain when away from the parks.

Electric vehicle (EV) charging avaliable for free using a NEMA 14-50 R giving approx 7kw/hours.

The property is managed by a local company with a 24hr emergency number - for complete peace of mind.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Excellent Stay!

House and property were beautiful, enough room to accommodate the 6/7 of us that were there. Very comfortable and welcoming, felt like home away from home. Everyone enjoyed the pool, neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Enjoyed outdoor walks/runs in the neighborhood. Excellent stay, highly recommend.

Pleasant stay, made reservation for next year. Impressed with kitchen supplies, air fryer, nice pots and pans. Bedrooms have extra sheets. Numerous pool towels and pool toys. Garage has pool table, air hockey, TV, and 2 sofas. House has nice location, large grassy area out back.

Great stay

The home is nice. Everything was clean. The toilet in the master bath leaked a little, the shower in the guest bath had a loud screeching sound anytime it was switched from bath to shower. My teenagers did not like that. I did notify the mgmt company, a lady said someone would come and look at it. No one came to fix it. The pool was great. The controllers for the play station did not work. Didn’t bother us we only tried to use once. The kids loved the air hockey table. It worked great. So many towels and extra blankets if needed. Lots of kitchen gadgets. Only used the coffee pot. We don’t like to cook on vacation. Overall it is a really nice home, and beds are comfortable. Would stay again.

Great vacation home

This house was perfect for our family of 5. The check in was easy and the house was very clean. It is a gated community which felt very safe. 15-20 minutes drive to any of the Disney parks plus lots of dining options nearby. With 3 young kids, the pool size and depth (half of it was 3ft) was perfect. Also helps that you have access to a bathroom right from the pool area. Kids also loved the air hockey and being two houses away from the playground.

Wonderful house and a beautiful resort. Perfect for a birthday celebration on St Patrick's Day weekend. Easy, short drive to Disney springs. Great home and location

First time snowbirds from Wisconsin and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The hosts responded to any questions immediately. The home was as listed, clean and well furnished. The pool was clean and had nice patio furniture. Plenty of bedding, a well stocked kitchen, nice washer/dryer with a starter set of paper products and soaps. Close to Disney, golfing, a publix, and restaurants. We hope to be back!

Three Generations visit to Kissimmee.

The price was good for the property. The description was accurate. We have stayed in Emerald Island Resort before so we know the location. The property was as described but there are a few things to keep in mind. Pool Heat: we paid for pool heat but since the pool is north facing it doesn’t get much sun at all. The pool heat is only put on for a short period of time (I think 8 hours) which isn’t enough to warm the pool. I wish the heat was left on 24/7. The air hockey table needs a good cleaning so it pushes air. The furniture in the garage is comfortable, but the couch in the main living room is very, very uncomfortable. I would switch them if it was my place. The king mattress pad had pilling that you could feel through the sheet. I think it must have been washed with something that pulled it and the owner probably isn’t aware. These are not complaints but suggested upgrades. The house is located perfectly for Disney and Kissimmee. The house is large for a party of 5 and very quiet. Owners are attentive and very helpful. We had a great trip and would come again but not until March when the pool will be warmer. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

Emerald Island Resort Villa, four bedroom sleeps 8

Location from Airport - approx 45mins. Upon entry to resort it was quite and very well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Entry into property was easy with a pin. Villa was as in pictures and very clean with a modern interior. I always check bedding and that was clean, with plenty of towels and usual mod cons in the kitchen. All open space. Outside pool area was clean and well maintained with a pool cleaner once a week if I'm correct. Bedrooms and bathrooms neat and clean. Bedding clean and we were even asked by the owners if we wanted particular children's bedding for the kids but we had teens. Instructions to operate items such as oven/washer/ dryer, easy to follow and very well laid out. Numbers incase if emergency etc. We did enquire if we could leave our suitcases somewhere as our flight back was at 1900hrs and check out was 1000hrs. Johnathon got back quickly and said we could leave baggage at the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse said it was at our own risk as they could not lock it away anywhere, we even offered extra money but the answer was the same. So something to consider because we wasted a day at the airport and decided not to take the risk of someone walking away with our suitcases. (Although this is not a reflection on the villas owners/managers) but would be nice if the clubhouse offered a left luggage service. That said, we were very pleased with our stay at the villa. It certainly surpassed my expectations and I would certainly stay again.

Excellent communication with property manager. The first night we had an issue with loud party next door but security and the property mgr handled our concerns. Only recommendations would be improved cable service, replacement of rugs in bedrooms and window coverings in master. Overall great stay!

Great place!

We found this gem to escape Hurricane Ida, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Jonathan was so easy to deal with and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The house is wonderful, plenty of room, pool was great, and the game room was fun! We would definitely rent here again!
