So, we stayed here one night and we were no all that happy. The place has potential, but it needs attention from management. The rooms are dirty and in need of maintenance. There are issues with the air conditioner and with the bathroom fixtures. The carpets and drapes are dirtying the bathroom towels are unusable in some cases. The sheets were clean. The hotel needs care and it's only selling point is that it is cheap.
got in the room and it looked nice..after a few hours went out to get food came back to turn the light on to eat at the table and to my suprise wat looks like blood stains on the wall..worst part is they would not change.our room once we told them we were uncomfortable here..gross...jus GROSS by tha way i hav pics..ima get a lawyer involved..
Good location, near the freeway. K-mart across the street. After a couple of minutes in the room I realized why it's named Econo Lodge. Nothing fancy, just your basic room. The carpet at the entry way of the room was the first thing I noticed. It was very worn and faded. I checked the sheets and they were clean. A few of the things the room didn't have that I'm used to seeing in a hotel room. (because of my job I travel a lot just never stayed at an Econo lodge) was a Coffee maker, closet, Iron and Ironing board. (given time I probably would have found more things) I went down stairs to ask for an Iron and Ironing board. No luck all irons were all checked out. Went to the lobby for my Continental breakfast and only found bagels, toast and packaged muffins along with containers of coffee and powdered creamer. Fortunately I only took my family there to sleep, I would not stay there for an extended period of time. Like I said it's called Econo Lodge. So it did live up to it's name
This place is horrible to say the least. Bathroom had cigarette ashes on the ledge of where the toilet paper holder was attached. Stained bedspread, stained towels, carpet next to the window was soaking wet from the a/c. Roaches.....roaches....ROACHES!!!!!!Coming out of the drapes. The second night I called the office and asked for help. It was booked solid due to a Nascar race and so we were stuck. They brought a can of Raid and acted surprised that I found roaches. She called them beetles and I corrected her and said "NO they are ROACHES". My husband was sound asleep so I sat up on roach watch and finally left at 4 in the morning, dead tired but away from that place. Don't be fooled by the excuse that they are remodeling. My sister's room was in the process and had spackle marks all over and also had roaches. Everyone I spoke to staying there said their rooms were bad, but the area was booked due to the race and we all just dealt with it. Thank goodness I am now 400 miles away. DON'T EVEN CONSIDER STAYING THERE!
We stayed at this hotel after a Nascar race. The hotel was very reasonably priced and were able to get a room only a week or so in advance. The room was very nice. It had a refridgerator, microwave, and cable. It was very clean and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back next year.
