Great outdoor space to walk dogs. Rooms were clean and the on sight restaurant was a great option!
We arrived before Orbitz booking entered Olympia hotel at Capitol lake system, but we didn't know that, and we had just left the Orbitz booking of motel 6 where they said they would charge my sister with trespassing if she stayed, because she didn't have her I.d., and we didn't know if that was going to occur here, so we just checked in hoping for success and we got even better than that - the clerk she gave us breakfast tickets because the Orbitz booking wasn't in the system yet. We weren't expecting breakfast tickets. When we went to breakfast it was empty and we didn't know what to expect. We got two delicious choices and the food we got was made just for us (not continental breakfast :) and we took what we didn't finish in to go boxes, and at home I don't eat leftovers much but our breakfast was such a blessing that it even tasted good later when we finished them :) and in our travels I hadn't been offered much free blessings that it hugged me, awe :)
We have family in the area so we stay at this hotel somewhat regularly. They are always wonderful to us and our dogs. The hotel is located in a wooded area and there is a very large lawn area that is perfect for a walk with the dogs. I recommend reserving a room with a sliding glass door directly to the lawn area. It's so convenient!
