Staff was very helpful, rooms very clean, located right across from the mercado in downtown

24/7 service, good food, adequate water and amenities, location

Great included breakfast buffet. Handy tour desk in lobby. Good location for centro sites. Didn't like foot and car traffic at entrance or sidewalks so crowed with vendor stalls.

Great location, extremely helpful staff, and incredibly clean. Environmentally conscious. We stayed five nights and had a wonderful stress free visit. Looking forward to our next visit.

They were very nice and accommodating. They were wonderful.

Very nice property, solid breakfast, very pleasant staff, hot water is sometimes only warm but welcome to Latin America.

What a wonderful hotel - right in the cento. We arrived on a Saturday night - the staff was very helpful and the room was great and very quiet and clean. After getting settled we strolled over to the Zócalo just a block away. A great base for exploring Oaxaca.

The staff was very friendly, caring and helpful. The hotel is located walking distance to everything. Hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. The only thing is that in order to shower with hot water you had to let the water run for like 10min. Also because the hotel is located centrally, the noise was a little much.

What a lovely traditional hotel in the heart of the city. Walking distance to most everything.

Gorgeous hotel! Directly across the street from the big market, and one short block to the Zocalo. Colorful and very picturesque. The staff was friendly and helpful--the rooms absolutely spotless. They served a nice complimentary breakfast every morning. And they left no stone unturned in decorating for Dia de Los Muertos! We can't wait to return! Also, Carmen at the tour desk in the lobby is a gem--she can arrange anything for you!

Nice hotel, close to the Zocolo. Traffic around it is hectic but do you expect at the center of town.

I had paid extra for a room with a/c. I was given a non-a/c room, so I asked to be moved. I was then moved to a large beautiful room. Luckily, I had not unpacked or undressed, because I received a call that the room was a suite priced almost double what I had paid...and they needed to move me to a 3rd room. The final room had a/c but was tiny and without the ability to hang any clothing (not a big deal since I was a single traveler). The bellman was great to help with each move, but the front desk staff was unapologetic.

This property meets expectation as a budget friendly hotel. Ideally and centrally located. Housekeeping was superb... in need of softer towels and tissue (if you are fussy...walk with your own) and breakfast could be improved by serving different local fruits rather than the same choices everyday

Check in was seamless. Great location right next to market and street food and 5 minute walk to zocalo. Staff let us leave bags. Grounds and hotel were super clean. Concierge desk helped with directions and recommendation. I LOVED that there were water coolers everywhere! loved the tea station. Breakfast spread was good - eggs, beans, chips, salsa, delicious fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal. WIFI WAS BEST OUT OF ALL PLACES WE STAYED IN OAXACA. Only downside is the shower is the type with not lip so water will get in rest of bathroom. We got a room with a balcony facing the market and slept with balcony door open. would stay again!

Hotel Trebol is in a great location, right next to the markets and the square. You can easily walk to the churches, the museums, and great restaurants. Our rooms were simple, but always very clean and comfortable. The hot water in the bathroom may take time to warm up, but we were on the third floor, so it may needed time to reach us. We were in Oaxaca in November---days are warm, but the nights are chilly. We had a fan in the room if it got warm during the day, and the hotel put extra blankets on our beds so we would stay warm at night. The hotel has a wonderful breakfast included in your stay of fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, toast, and delicious salsas and moles. The coffee is instant, but there's a good coffee shop and hot chocolate shop next door. We were on the third floor, and there is no elevator, so you must be able to walk the stairs. We had an interior room, and it was quiet in a really busy part of town.

Hotel Trebol is an exceptional place to stay in Oaxaca! Very clean and well maintained! Lovely environment and friendly staff. Free breakfast every morning with fresh fruits, granola, yogart, ranch style eggs, toast, etc. Rooms AC worked great! Beds very comfortable. Everything was within walking distance. The Hotel also can arrange day tours to surrounding attractions. We felt safe and well taken care of! I would stay there again!

Hotel Trebol is very well maintained and in a central location that is an easy walk to many restaurants and attractions. Breakfast is a nice amenity. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very firm but comfortable. We stayed in a room with air conditioning. The AC was a bit noisy but worth it to temper the humidity. The AC rooms are on the noisy street side of the hotel but we enjoy people watching and when we were ready to sleep, we were so tired that the noise was not a deterrent. We were all pleased with our stay at Hotel Trebol.

When we arrived it was raining. The drop off are had chains to save the place and my friend had to go down of the car to move them. The staff saw her and did not helped her. Next day we asked if we can leave the car a little bit longer after check out so that we can eat breakfast. The receptionist said not possible. They were really not kind or helpful.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived late but they let us check in after mid-night. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable although there was no AC. The courtyard was beautiful and we enjoyed eating breakfast there in the mornings. The location is right in the center near the bustling markets but when you are inside it is quite and peaceful. Overall it was a great place to stay.
