Area outside of the property looks super sketchy and run down but ill say its normal since the main train station is a short walk away and theres tons of foot traffic. This place has free parking which is obviously great! Here are some of the not so great things: the building faces the sun so it was super hot in our room, the AC unit does not do the bare minimum so we had to open up the window which if you're ok with outside noises you'll be good otherwise you'll have an uncomfortable night. The police station is right next door so be prepared for random loud sirens throughout the night (extra loud if the window is opened). The shades in the room are not the widest so don't expect a super dark room, it was super hard falling asleep since there was still tons of light out. The amenities are also not the greatest, they had a vending machine but it was out of order which sucked because the drinks at reception were more expensive. I dont think I would come back to stay here again.
The hotel is near the center but in an adult (red-light)entertainment area. Parking is provided but people lingering in the lot made it frightening. One man was urinating on cars. The room was spacious and the furnishings Spartan but okay. Hotel advertises air conditioning. Our room with air on full was about 32C (90 F)...same as outside. Impossible to sleep. Room refrigerator was also not cooling. Staff unconcerned about air conditioning issue. Do not recommend. 2½ star
