Utterly disgusting! The online photos are not what your really getting! I check in and checked out 2 hours later, roaches crawling on the headboard, bathroom ceiling about to cave in, sheets on the bed barely fit. All through the hotel carpeting terrible rugs filthy.
The price was great, but the pictures were definitely miss leading. I hope someone reads this before booking a stay here. I am sorry for the bad review unfortunately it's the truth. Great price doesn't always mean the best quality.
The young lady tried to make me pay more money for my 2 night stay. I paid with my credit card the amount that your company said it would be at check in time $186.54 for the 16th and 17th and I checked out early Monday morning around 3 am. Tia was very nasty to me and wouldn’t even look at my booking arrangements with you, but yet still tried to get more money when I didn’t owe anymore. Very very nasty! If I didn’t no any better I would think she was scamming me for more money. Tia tried to push my credit card threw again for more money. But she couldn’t get it because I have one of those cards that you reload and I only put $200 dollars on it. And on my phone in messages it tells me who and the amount that was taken out and my balance. She tried twice to get money but there was no more money on the card. She does not need to work there especially representing a company at the front desk.
Surprisingly the drive to the hotel looked very nice. However the hotel itself I feel like welcomed one and welcomed all. Prostitution at night perhaps (just a guess), kids smoking weed in the halls, vagrants in the morning. I just did not feel safe with 2 small children. The rooms were marginal at best with hair in the shower and mediocre comfort. I will not be going back to this Days INN.
Nasty and filthy
Staff was very friendly
It was functional, nothing unique. Bathrooms needed some repairs
We had a great stay ended up adding a night, we didn’t wanna leave 💕
The rooms could have been a little cleaner.
The location was convenient to mid town Newport News, but the hotel was filthy and run down.
Nobody cleaned the room. Nobody replaced toiletries or towels. Locks did not work.
Not too clean and smelled like moist and smoke regardless if you were in non-smoking room. Breakfast was not too great either
Checked into room and no toilet paper and no shower curtain. Staff did take care of immediately. But really? No toilet paper, especially when you need it at the moment.
Location of hotel is great however staff service is mediocre. Lady at the front desk did not want to entertain my request for a quiet room even though I was checking in early (middle of the day) and gave a loud room facing the pool.
I was only there over night while passing thru but for the short time I spent there everything was OK
The iron was missing, towels could look a bit more cleaner and entry key had to be reset several times .
Good for the price. Carpet could use a good cleaning or even be replaced.
