I didn't like that the pool was closed and it was so dirty and algae filled you couldn't see to the bottom. The first room I got they had to use a machine/contraption thingie to open my door. When we first checked in there was duct tape in the door well. I took it off and then got locked out of the room because the door handle did not work. There were feces on the wall of the shower and tub. The TV remote did not work. It was $200 for the room and very over priced.

The staff was great. They were warm, welcoming, extremely helpful and very friendly!! I would definitely stay there again because of them. The location is perfect! Easy to get to. The breakfast options were good. The WiFi was a little slow. But not a show stopper by any means.

We arrived late (2:00 am) for a 3 night stay and there were people sitting outside and cars back and forth to certain rooms. There were loud cars in and out all hours of the night. It is a nice place but a too sketchy for a second stay.
Easy access to eating and area. Super convenient to visit NOLA without the high price stay downtown. All the necessities you need for a place to come back and forth while touring the area.
It was the location I wanted. I paid a pretty low price. But some other hotels a couple miles further were about 2/3 the price. The room was kept clean and I stayed 4 nights. But it was a dark room, always dark even with all lights on. Linoleum floor that always seemed sticky. The room always smelled like sanitzer, which in a way was reassuring, but not a welcome smell. It was quiet, and everything worked. The worst part was the that the air conditioner kept the room "just okay", like about 73 degrees or more, when it was so hot in New Orleans in July. I slept on top of the bed with no covers, to avoid being hot. Overall not awful, but not a welcome room to come back to at night.
Stayed at this hotel on a cruise out of New Orleans. Should have picked a nicer hotel. Very outdated. Don’t bring a black light.

Everything was great the only problem was the ironing board was broken.

Lois at check-in was very friendly and efficient. The room was good, but had broke furniture.
Friendly staff overall and only complaint was as a handicap customer and 21 day customer I asked for a 2 hour late checkout that was Refused by front desk. I've never had a request of that nature denied. I sensed the desk employee may just have been uninformed of motel policy if in fact one existed. In room refrigerator didn't keep keep things cold and ice would melt quickly. Overall I was satisfied and cleaning staff was very helpful.

The pool is closed due to Covid-19 and we still haven't received cooperates permission to reopen it. The original reservation for this room was a Smoking, King size bedroom. We were able to switch it to the room with the lock problem since at that moment, that was all we had. We switched the room after the guest mentioned problems with the room because a reservation had been canceled. We apologize that your stay was not comfortable, and will improve for the better.
