The property did not look anything like the pictures. The staff was rude and non accommodating. They gave me a room that had roaches, the shower pipe was also broke and sprayed water everywhere when you turned it on and there was hair and stains on the blankets. When I requested a refund for the other 9 nights that I reserved but did not stay yet then they told me that they weren’t able to facilitate a refund because they have a no refund policy (that is nowhere on the site or papers that you sign). They told me that they would only be able to switch my room to a cleaner one. They switched my room two more times and both of those rooms ALSO HAD ROACHES. Still they refused to give me a refund for days that I have not yet stayed there. We spoke to the Property Manager, General manager, and sent a complaint to corporate. So my wife and I had to buy our own roach spray and traps because they wouldn’t give us our money back so we can stay elsewhere. This was a horrible experience, especially for my first time being in the New Orleans area and it being for a move while waiting for my house to be ready. I will never stay at an intown suites again.

Never again.

I really wouldn’t know, when I got there they had no rooms, even though I had booked one for a week for work and there where more people with reservations they where turning away, so I had to call around and finally found something and paid double because it was a last minute reservation

Room was dilapidated, terrible stench of smoke, and everything was sticky.

The property manager canceled my reservation and didn’t inform me until I went to check in

The location of the hotel was most favorable. But the condition of the room will disappoint you.

The room looked like someone went through the dump and picked up torn up building supplies and tried to reappropriate them. There were roaches crawling everywhere. You were given a note in your key card packet that there was no cleaning of the room. You were to empty your litter and take it to the dumpster, you were given a towel and washcloth to reuse and keep, and best of all you got one roll of toilet paper. If you needed more you had to provide it yourself. We “slept” on top of the cover in our clothes. We went to Target and bought our own pillows, so we didn’t have to lay our heads on theirs. Mostly I stayed up all night watching our car due to the riffraff in the parking lot. Needless to say, we left first thing in the morning and did not return. Please do not send anyone else to this place.

I never write reviews but if you're staying here you must know what we went through. We pre paid our whole stay months in advanced, we arrived Christmas Day and of course the front office was closed , we had to call some "manager" who told me "I'll be there in half an hour or so just wait outside " umm okay? Im in a place I don't know and they knew I was coming why wouldn't they have staff on site knowing they have reservations made? That was strike one for me. Then we get our room and it smelled like a dirty casino, cigarette and just disgusting musty smell it made my stomach turn. When I booked my room I paid for a non smoking room and this is what I get. So the next day I go and ask to be changed to a different non smoking room because the smell is terrible and the girl who is working at the time says "yea people smoke in the rooms even when they are not supposed to all the rooms smell like smoke" that was her response to me I was mind blown!! No customer service no intent to even try to help us, she basically told me tough luck. strike 2! Oh and this same day we stepped out for breakfast and when we returned our key card was not working we went to find out why..SO basically they gave our room to other people with all of our luggage inside, had these people been thieves all of our personal items could of been robbed! And the staff was just so matter of fact about it. & They don't supply TOILET PAPER OR TOWELS!! we had to purchase our own. UNBELEIVABLE

The rooms was fare but I had to buy my own tissue for my 7 day stay and housekeeping was on the day I was checking out

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. It is true when they say, you get what you pay for. For the price, it is an OK hotel. If you are looking for a last minute place to stay for a night, you might consider this place. The rooms are mostly disgusting but livable for a night. My recent stay (Nov 9 - 16 2017), I reserved my room weeks in advance like I always do. Due to my military disability, I always reserve an accessible room on the first floor. When I arrive at the hotel, I was informed that my reservation was somehow cancelled. I alway prepay for my room so there should never be a reason that it would be cancelled. After 20 minutes, the receptionist (Alissa) was able to fix that problem. Then she informed me that the accessible room I had reserved was not ready. The cleaning crew was unavailable until the next day. She decided to put me in a temporary room (305) until the next day. I would be moved into my proper room once it was cleaned. I didn’t want a room on the third floor but I had no choice. Climbing stairs was difficult due to my disability and the elevator was not working. I got to room 305 and did not bother to unpack because I was being moved the very next day. The room was absolutely filthy. The next day, still couldn’t move. Was told I had to keep room 305. Alissa was not there so I spoke with Donell W. He was rude and unprofessional. Was told to keep room 305 or leave. I Checked out with NO REFUND. NASTY HOTEL STAY AWAY

The room wasn't nothing like I saw online we booked a room with a stove top etc but the hotel said they haven't had pots, pans or dinnerware in over a year. That was the biggest upset for me due to we were going to cook most our meals to cut down on our food cost. I was struck with that room for 1 week... We couldn't get clean towels the staff said we had to was them.in the laundry room. I WILL NEVER use that chain of hotel EVER again. Orbitz should do a better job and making sure they make it right with their customers and not tell me to complain to the hotel.i paid Orbitz not the hotel I booked through Orbitz not the hotel and to top it off I had 2 rooms down in New Orleans celebration my Mother in laws Birthday and Anniversary.I was so embarrassed for her more than myself due to I planned the trip.

Sheets was itchy and not comfortable so I had to go buy my own sheets.

Room was clean, nice location with access to many restaurants, stores, shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful, nice place for a great price. I stayed when you could get the room for the weekend. I hate they changed it, it was like being at home away from home, able to cook instead of going out to eat. I wish they change it back, now you can only stay by the week

Horrible not what I expected toilet over flooded room stink hole under the door

The area was the best part. Perfect area to walk around, shop, eat. Not too far from Oakwood mall! I mean it is a motel so dont expect anything spectacular but anything a traveler would need is not far from the room. I would stay again. Paper thin walls though might I add...Really thin!(disturbing at times)

Very nice hotel, located at 10 minutes from downtown of new orleans , ideal for rest after a tired day en NOLA . The hotel is clean with good facilities. Very nice hotel a very economical price.

When I arrived around 4 p.m., I was told that there was no available non-smoking double room which I booked several weeks ago through this website. The only remaining double room was a smoking room but I needed the non-smoking one. Moreover, the only remaining smoking room was actually reserved by other people but they just had not arrived before us. The staff asked us if we could accept a single room, for two persons (o-m-g..) . Since I had no choice at that moment, I accepted their "offer" anyway for the first day, and later next day we were changed to a double non-smoking room which was just checked out by other people. All personnel, including the manager were nice, despite the frustrating overbooking issue. The manager agreed to refund me for the first day stay. Actually I did not care too much about the money but the first day was really a disaster for me. I am not sure why this could happen to me. As a traveler, I am more familiar with the airline overbooking issues but had never experienced hotels being overbooked. The full payment was made when I booked the hotel several weeks ago so I would expect the availability of my room to be guaranteed. I do not know what went wrong here, on the hotel side or this website side.

It was okay until staff asked too many times whether or not we were checking out even though that info was already provided when the reservation was booked and when I checked in. I felt like I was being rushed out. I will never stay there again.

We didn't get clean towels next day coffee pot no coffe. Wall too thin could hear loud music playing like a party next door afraid booked room for Mardi Gras need to cancel

it wasnt bad it wasnt the fantiest place i ever stayed and the tub faucet didnt work / but very cleannly nice to rest your head . over all not bad fr the price
