While this charming part of town provides a tranquil refuge from the thrill of the French Quarter, it is truly a destination in itself.

Getting Around:
Our convenient location and safe neighborhood makes this your ultimate travel destination. We are nestled in between the premier Central Business District and the beautiful Lower Garden District while still close to most major sites. We are a 5 minute walk from the St Charles at Erato streetcar stop, and the neighborhood features plentiful on street parking. While there is plenty to see and do here on foot, we are a quick 5-7 minute drive to the Superdome and French Quarter or a 20-25 minute walk.

Pros: Parking, seating, comfortable beds, nice dishes/silverware, lighting, washer/dryer, clean, location, customer service. Cons: No privacy curtains on the windows in the bathrooms. Can't use the beautiful tub, No tv's in the bedrooms, Only 2 burners out of 5 gas burners worked, oven didn't work, no hot water - just luke warm when it finally warms up/ water pressure was very low thru-out the home. No washcloths except decorative blue ones. Oh, and 1 bed sqeaks really bad. No closets, Annoying was the heavy walking and running in the upstairs unit while we were winding down at night. Initially we were disappointed due to the state of the backyard. I contacted the property manager and they responded immediately and came that night to clean up pool/outside. The next day they sent another cleaner and she did her best to remedy it as well. The pool ended up being enjoyed by my 6 year old grandDiva and my husband. I couldn't get over the initial condition, so I didnt get a chance to enjoy it or the grill because we didnt want to deep clean it. I even contacted them before we arrived and asked if the pool was available for use and they assured me that it was. The entire outside needs a deep cleaning. It's a huge tree that covers the yard and debri and caterpillars were contantly falling in the pool. Overall, the house SHOWS beautifully and has the potential of being a lush vacation property if they address these issues. Housing and Experience is everything while on vacation.

8 of us ride in a parade and decided to VRBO this year this house was spacious and well appointed - only down side ice maker was not working!
