Mattress was horrible. Room smelled odd. Outdated furnishings. Horrible window treatment decor. Inadequate lighting. Guests upstairs stomped around all night. I was wide awake at 3AM thanks to them!

Beds felt like box springs- sheets felt like they'd been used for the past 30 years- pillows were basically deteriorating and most have also been used for 30 years- no inside lock except the top door chain - seats inside the room were wobbly I didn't even trust taking a shower there or use their towels The front desk guy was pleasant- that's the only positive thing i could say

They refused my reservation.

When I arrived the front desk person said she didn’t have a record of my reservation. I told her my reservation was through Hotels.com. She said she never heard of hotels.com. I tried to show her my confirmation email in my phone. She refused to look at it. She said she will not Look at my phone and only cared if I have a confirmation number in her hotel’s format. I tried to give her my hotels.com confirmation number. She raised her voice nearly shouting that this is not the format if the motel’s confirmation number and that I have no reservation. I tried to show her the confirmation email again. At this point she did actually shout at me that she would not look at my phone. I then left. I then found another motel to sleep that was about 20 miles away.

Traveled from Michigan with my family and booked a stay here. First 10 minutes there was a man half leaned over asleep standing in the road. My 8 year old daughter asks me "what's that man doing?" I was not ready to explain to my daughter what someone on drugs looks like. I immediately asked for a refund and explained the situation to the person in the office. They would not issue a refund. A second incident the police blocked off all entrances looking for some one. This place is stated as family friendly and that is not the case at all. My family did not feel safe. This place should not be on Expedia.
The way this hotel is designed you have to drive past this to turn around
