Hi, just saw the message to review the property. I stayed there a few months ago because it was an affordable option after seeing a concert at the amphitheater. Nothing memorable happened and I always appreciate a free breakfast. I’m sure the place was great, as i recall it was just what I expected for a basic place

It just felt rundown. The elevator was broken. The staff didnt seem to keen to help carry luggage up the stairs. One of the windows was broken and they put tarp over it to cover it up.

Unfortunately this was the only reservation I could find in the area. Everything was booked, probably due to school functions, activities. Asked for two more towels and was questioned as to why, hair dryer didn’t work (asked for replacement that barely worked), elevator broke down (but was repaired upon our arrival back to hotel), kids allowed to raise cane up and down hallways, shouting at all hours. Surfaces everywhere needed deep cleaning, king bed was not a king bed. Overall disappointing for the amount spent. Won’t be returning.

While this hotel was convenient to the venue/event we went to in CT, we were kind of underwhelmed with the total hotel experience. As we arrived we were told that the elevator was out of service. There was an offer to assist with our luggage, but not a good start. Then we were told a 100.00 hold on our credit card was in place until we checked out. The key cards worked at first, but when we left to go to our event, when we returned they did not. We were told not to put them in the same pocket with our phones....??? Finally when we checked out, when I asked for a receipt I was told since I booked through Expedia, they would send me the receipt....??? To be honest until I get my CC bill I am not sure what i paid. On the bright side, the room was clean and neat and the breakfast was fine....the usual buffet hotel breakfast. We were only there one night. If we had to stay longer we probably would have looked for an upgrade.
