The hotel was run down the location is great. We stayed in the bamboo room the room was clean bed very small not big enough for two no hot water. The staff is very friendly it was nice because there only a couple other guests staying. There is a great hamburger place across the street called ahhhbees if you want Good Food go there the hotel didn't serve much

This is not a big all inclusive place. It is a nice quaint property with a great view. For need TLC but was generally clean and safe. The staff mostly lived on property and were very friendly. This is a place to go for quiet solitude. Close to good restaurants and bars and s cheap ride to town. I plan to come back.

First time staying at this hotel. Away from the beach so nice and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was awesome! Rooms were outdated but nice.

The staff here is the friendliest of any hotel I've ever stayed at. They will do anything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The pictures are very deceiving. It had a terrible odour in the bathroom and the ac didn't work hardly ever. Almost everything on the menu wasn't "available". Wifi only worked well by the front desk. Wasn't a good getaway experience at all.

I recently stayed at the Negril Escape with my girlfriend. We had a blast during our trip. We stayed in room 104 and the view was incredible. The hotel offers a lighthouse you can jump off of as well as a few small alcoves to swim in the ocean, all on top of the swimming pool as well. The only downside to the resort in our opinion was the pushiness and constant hustling from the locals outside of the resoer. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend Negril Escape if you are looking for a more private experience than the all-inclusives on 7 mile beach

cold not stay here by no means nothing about Negril escape is 4 star

After arriving at this location I could not stay there. there was no electricity the place was in darkness and really hot.it was raining and you could take a shower from the water pouring through the leaking roof The room that is supposed to be a 4 (four) star was small and further cluttered with two double beds there was no way I would have stayed there so I found somewhere else This was like nothing I have ever seem before just unbeleiveable.

This could have been a very good, relaxing trip. However, this resort/motel operates it's air conditioning system by "solar" according to the resort staff. The air conditioner shuts down during the day and only works during the night. AND FOR ONE ENTIRE NIGHT THE AIR CONDITIONER DID NOT WORK AT ALL FOR ME IN ROOM 201. Unfortunately, the security told me that the office was closed that night. Additionally, the pool area was not cleaned and the landscaping needs some serious work. I should at least be refunded one night's cost. I feel like I was cheated out of one night's comfort without an air conditioner. The staff workers were nice and friendly. However, whoever owns this resort needs to make some type of adjustments with the air conditioning and cut back some of the weeds and bushes on the landscaping. Also refund me one night's cost.

This was a decent hotel however, let me be clear this was no 4 star more like 1 or even a 2 star....

I just want to say that the Negril Escape was the best "escape" we've had in ages. Since we can't travel in Mexico anymore, we're shifting to Jamaica. The staff at the Negril: Dameon, Kevin, Sheldon, Davis and Charmaine and the others, were simply awesome. The breakfast amenities were great, the location is in a very nice area of Negril, kind of quiet, yet close enough to the action if you want it. The establisments nearby range from elegant to rasta...yeah mon. I recommend it with ethusiasm.

At the time this was the best priced hotel I could find. I was a little disappointed by the room I received, the window and toilet tank were broken and the room seemed very motel like. However, it is right on the beach, the grounds (pool and Jacuzzi) were kept clean, the staff were friendly and the best part was that there was a small shop on the grounds for basic needs which was very helpful since I was traveling with a toddler.

The Negril Escape is perfect for those looking for a chilled-out spot to relax and decompress. The cottages are on the nicer side of quaint (AC + TV work well, water temp/pressure a little spotty) and offer spectacular views of the sun setting into the ocean. This resort is located on the west-end of Negril, famous for its scenic cliffs and delicious little roadside restaurants. You can catch a 10 minute cab ride from the Escape and go down to the beach if you crave some white sand and a little more action. Service is good, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended for couples.

We stayed at Negril Escape during New Years 2011. It is very strategic as we can walk down the road to pubs/restaurants in the area. It is not as flash as other places there we've seen but it was pleasent enough.

me and 4 friends stayed at the Escape in March 2010. i am writing this review now, as i am close to booking another trip to the Escape now. this place is great, it is more beautiful then the pics can show, the rooms might not be the 5 star marble floor rooms of the riviera mayan palaces of mexico, but they are very nice rustic bungalows, clean and the water pressure was great, and plenty of hot water - really what more do you need.. the air worked fine, and i got up every morning to have a long lie in the hammock on the balcony and really relax, before the hustle of the day.. breakfast was always wonderful, the frsh fruit and french tosast always being my favorite.. the grounds are kept up very well by [...].. [...] will help you find any souvenir you might need, and set you up with any tours you wanna take.. [...] will drive you to the beach, then later to the jungle - for free - no problem mon.. [...] will make sure your glass is never empty, and even the security guys, [...] and [...] became fast friends.. i know there were other guests, but it really felt like our group had the place to ourselves most of the time..we just missed the winter concert series, but i definitely want to hit a show at the hotel next time, but it didnt matter, cause there is live music at one of the major beaches every night of the week, and when there isnt, the jungle is happenin.. this place was great - dont hesitate..

The first indication of the quality of the hotel should have been the sleeping baby in tehreception area and lackadaisical service. No phone in rooms to contact staff and if you had an issue or question you had to go all the way to the reception desk to rouse someone. Room clean but in poor quality. Perfect if you've lost your wallet or is determined to "rough it for the expereince." Cable went out for most of the stay and no-one seemed to have any interest in getting it fixed. Lovely view from my shack-like room and the surrounding environs were lovely. [...]
