Hotel needs updating. Some patched areas in the room need touch up
I choose this hotel last minute while traveling because the holiday inn express locations are almost always high quality. This is an older hotel which is in bad need of a complete renovation. It is located near other low quality hotels. Rooms are very dirty, damp, and dark. Arrived late and night staff quite unwelcoming.
They didn’t take cash and we had brought cash so that posed an issue. The bed and floor in our room seemed damp. The breakfast was great though.
Bathroom was dirty upon arrival: hair in the bathtub and on the floor of bathroom. Shower did not drain properly. Toilet did not always flush. Stayed three nights and room was never cleaned, towels never replaced. Only good thing was proximity to downtown.
This is probably the worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. Everything is run down and beat up. The floor in our room was filthy and obviously had not been cleaned.
Toilet seat was broke. Food left in the fridge from previous guests. Shower wouldn’t drain and hair was coming out of the drain. Disgusting. Would NOT recommend.
Dirty hotel, mold in bathroom, dirty linens , blood stains on sheets, terrible room service, don’t stay here pay little more and upgrade your stay somewhere else
Water did not heat up during shower. Bathtub did not drain. This left a bathtub full of cold water for a shower in the morning. Walls are paper thin and could hear everything going on during the night... and for an extremely empty hotel (covid time period) it was very noisy. There was no breakfast served.
Very close to downtown Nashville and very accessible. The front desk person was very miserable, not very welcoming and acted annoyed and impatient when we had questions.
We stayed on a very busy weekend and the staff was phenomenal. Our rooms were awesome and the staff was very friendly and quick with all requests. Best stay in Nashville so far.
My room was damp from a/c, bathroom door had to force to close, toilet is loose from floor and toilet seat is broken.
The room was very clean, the staff was very nice. Wasn’t too far from from Broadway. The breakfast was very adequate. We were disappointed the pool was under repair. They also need more ice machines. You have to go to the Lobby area for ice. We would definitely stay again!
Great location, clean, and pretty quiet. Extremely comfortable beds and spacious. Nice selection of breakfast also.
Convenient location. Room was a little noisier than most HI Expresses that I've stayed in. That's not the hotels fault of the type of traffic that comes by the property. Overall, this is a good place, good location, great and friendly staff. I'd stay again.
Swimming pool had trash and condoms. Service from staff was ok at best. I always stay at Holiday Inn Express, not sure if I will ever book a room here again. Very disappointing.
Very friendly staff. Nice hotel and clean. May need to spray room for spiders. Found a big one in our room.
