Good stay

The hotel is dated, but a lot of things in Myrtle Beach are. It was centrally located to coastal College and Myrtle overall it was clean and that was my main need. I even got to enjoy the pool.

Hotel was ok, very hot and humid. Front desk staff was nice but the cleaning staff was rude as can be. Refused to give any extra towels refused to clean the room one day because the comforter was on the floor, laughed at me and actually told me that I need to relax when I asked to have my room cleaned.

This hotel looks decent from the outside however we were given a room that smelt like mildew, there was a broken window and a very wet towel laying on the sill. The mold mildew smell was so strong we had to go back and ask for another room. No smell however the TV and Air didn’t work well. The front desk team was not very welcoming either. Will not be staying at another Quality Inn again.

Girls trip

Upon arrival we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned from prior guest. Dirty towels on the floor unmade bed. Halls smelled like soiled baby diapers. The second room we were given was cleaned but still had strong odor of mold and mildew. Coffee maker didnt work so i asked for another to be put in the room. Which was dropped off on the counter but never took the broken one nor hooked up the replacement. When i left to go out in the morning only to return that night to find my room door had been left open by housekeeping. Thankfully nothing was taken. Will not be staying there again. Everything was reported to the manager.

The owner and the lady working (auditor?) were both extremely rude and unwelcoming. They also charged me a fee for my service animal even though that is illegal. I asked her twice if she was sure about charging me for that which she said yes. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The outside grass was full of trash and broken beer and alcohol bottles.

Not Again

The hotel smelt like pot in the hallways and on the elevator. The only comfort was while in the room. Great location but not after dark. The parking lot is very sketchy. Poor lighting and people hanging out in the parking lot until late hours. Made you feel uneasy. My car has a scratch on the hood like someone set something on my car. Not a place I would recommend for a family to stay. Not a place I would stay again.

Pictures are illusions. Hairs in the bed, in the fridge and in the shower. Picture make the double bed room look bigger than it actually is. The A/C unit in the room went in and out all night even after being turned to the coolest setting. The sink was barely holding on. The hotel is maybe a 2 star and that is being gracious. The hallways have no air and smells very old. Looks like they tried to paint the walls and ceilings (popcorn ceiling at that) to give it an update and more modern look, but the hotel should be gutted and renovated. I would never stay their again. Oh and im assuming the manager is who checked us in is not friendly.

Disappointing Stay

The hotel and our room smelled like weed. The elevator was scary and the inspection certificate was not posted in the elevator. Breakfast was bad, only waffles, dry cereal and bagels. Coffee was decent. We would not stay here again.
