Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English which was great as I knew very little German. The rooms were very clean and nice, the beds were comfy and the shower was great, just what you want for a city break. The tram stop was about a 1 minute walk from the hotel and took around 15 minutes to get into the city centre. The hotel provide a map of public transport and it is very easy to follow. You can also get to and from the airport using the tram/underground too which is also very easy to follow. The stop outside the hotel ‘Leonrodplatz’ was the one we used more frequently. The Olympia Park is within walking distance and there’s also shops nearby. I would recommend renting bikes too if the weather is sunny enough, everyone rides bikes and it’s so convenient to get around and is much quicker than walking. Definitely would stay at this hotel again as it’s in the perfect location and the staff were all very friendly.

The hotel was pretty average. We stayed for 2 nights and was probably the worst thing about my favourite place in the world. The main draw backs were that you had to pay for WiFi and a bit of lost in translation advice from reception. I might be a bit cheap but in this day and age I don’t think it’s that hard to offer free WiFi to guests. I asked about the regularity of the U Bahn early in the morning and the receptionists said it was good. We were due to catch the 06:30 train to Paris which we were really close to missing because of this advise. We still left in plenty of time, but were within a minute of missing it due to irregular U Bahn service. I would’ve just got a taxi had I been advised to. The plus side to the hotel was that the cocktails were good and the barmen very friendly and talkative. Also the place allowed pets which I loved as you can’t beat a nice dog!

Excellent personal and excellent servicel. The roosm are Clean and the brekfaste is also excellent. Parking is not the best but ok. Location good for business and 15 min in train to the city. You see the traines fron the hotel and its a 3 min walk.

The Israeli Leonardo hotel chain offers fresh, modern, functional places to stay and this is no exception. They’re no nonsense hotels, of what I would call a 3 star standard. This hotel is quite new and looks good at the moment. How it will look in a few years time is a different question, as already it’s showing signs of wear/tear and it’s clear the furniture and decor is at the cheaper end of the scale - but for now it is fine. The big breakfast buffet (starting 6.30am every morning including weekends) is really good indeed, the rooms black out, there’s good sound proofing, a/c, free reliable 3.5 Mbps Wi-fi, and the water pressure in the big showers is excellent. The rooms themselves aren’t huge, but they’re functional. My only issue with the place is the location; it’s on a main road in a residential area with virtually nothing around it. The Olympic park/ BMW world is actually a good brisk 20 minute walk away, there’s no U/S Bahn stop anywhere in the vicinity, and so you’re reliant on trams. The 20/21 will take you to Karlsplatz/Stachus in 14 minutes - but that’s your only connection and you feel a bit in the “middle of nowhere”. On the other hand the price is good compared to other offerings in Munich, and if you don’t mind being a bit out of the way, I think most people would be perfectly happy with their stay. I’d definitely come again. SUMMARY: Good value, no nonsense, non-central, fresh modern hotel, where you’ll get a good night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast.

I stayed here as the nearby Leonardo hotel was full. This one is smaller with fewer facilities. Rooms are comfortable but a big range of sizes.. some are very small. It was badly let down by the staff, which seemed to be because there were very few of them. The receptionist doubled as the person delivering room service, and the sole barman also had to serve food. At one point we waited 20 minutes for a beer. The icing on the cake was the 1:30am knock on my door from the barman insisting I had to get out of bed (I had been asleep for 2 hours), get dressed, go downstairs and settle my bar/food bill by card. He was happy enough earlier when I signed for it against my room bill. Even worse, he was very impolite about the whole thing!! I won’t be going back .

Typical Leonardo Standard. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, good food, nice rooms. Maybe the rooms are not so big as one would wish but more than ok for a few days. Breakfast room a bit crowded. Must try the burger. Would rexommend it.

We only had a great experience in this hotel. staff is friendly and helpful. All the important stuff like bed, bathroom and other equipment are modern and clean. Be aware there is an extra charge if you want to park here. But it is in safe underground carpark with direct access to the hotel. Location is perfect as well. Not far from centre and not far from Olympia park and BMW welt. I can only recommend this place.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our Germany holidays. We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly. The hotel is nice and modern. The buffet breakfast was very nice, with lots of selections. It's only about 5 minutes walk to the subway station. The Olympic park is only about 20-25 minutes walk from the hotel.

Hotel is a good choice for busniess trips. The connection to the freeway is just perfect, you are on it within 3min by car (without traffic jam). The metro station is by feet only 5min away. The service in the restaurant is very good. 23 Euro extra for breakfast is for Germany very expensive, but you get a huge buffet with everything you want and need. You can even have resh cooked omelet etc. in front of you. In the overall the hotel is great. One small thing I was disapointed. It seemed that the cleaning stuff didn`t cleaned the glass door in the shower. The door had this withe residues when you let dry the wet glass by air....

The hotel is located quite far from the city center (3 km), but there is a tram stop right in front allowing you to reach all the hotspots in 10 minutes. Price/quality ratio is good in my opinion and there are usually interesting pack on Booking. Rooms are modern and complete with all you need to enjoy a warm stay: tv, wi-fi, kettle, hair dryer... The staff is very kind and efficient.
