Hotel was good physically, and I liked the 2 female receptionists on my first day, because they gave me directions and food / tour suggestions around the city; but the 2 male receptionists on the 2nd day were a bit unfriendly, especially when I planned to leave my baggage in the luggage room because I planned to come back after 1 day in Salzburg, and since they were really trying to dissuade me from leaving my stuff— I ended up not leaving any baggage and I therefore didn’t book another night in the hotel anymore after Salzburg.

A little misleading from photos. I would describe as very “basic” a lot of opportunities to make this hotel a better more comfortable experience. Our room was missing blinds and one window had no curtains to block out sun and privacy. Very close to train station and easy walk to the October fest

The room was not cleaned and when requested only the bed was made. They took our towels and didn’t replace them so we had to ask them. You have to pay for the air, so we used the fan and that broke: there is no iron in the room and when I asked they didn’t have one and had to wait until someone returned it. The windows don’t open very far. The shower is small and the water leaked all over because the doors didn’t close very well: I got but by flees in the bed. The location is good for Oktoberfest so if you don’t care about anything I mentioned then you’ll be fine. Oh and the phone and safe did not work in the room.

Cleanliness was okey. Showerhead was moldy and dirty. The room was okey, not super clean but okey. Cleaning staff had their equipment outside in the hallway all day everyday, why? Just clean the rooms and take it away. Staff was okey. Only cash if you wanna pay for something.

It was a decent sized room for one person to sleep for two nights. The first room was not fully cleaned when I checked in at 4pm but I got a new one when I spoke to the reception. The room was trendy and was ok but it was very hot, there was no AC or anywhere to change the temperature. The windows could be opened but they faced a busy street so you couldn't keep them open all the time.

Original listing on Expedia showed air conditioning as an amenity for the entire hotel (this was one of my search filters when looking for a hotel in Munich. When we arrived the front desk said our room didnt have air and that I didnt select a room with A/C. There were no rooms available to "upgrade" to one with a/c and there was an extra charge for a/c. This is very decieving because the hotel amenities lists a/c, any potential guest would assume the entire hotel and common areas had a/c. We had a quad room had we felt like we were in a dorm. Half of the vinyl flooring planks creak. The shower after the 1st night was leaking through and seaping out of the planks from the outside of the bathroom area. The lobby, bar and small breakfast area are not connected to the room area we were in 790, so you had to go through the lobby out into the courtyard then to another building. These buildings don't have an elevator access and have a somewhat spiraling staircase set up and each small landing only accommodates 2 rooms on either ends. The showers are small as others have mentioned and have a frosted glass door that doesnt really allow privacy overall. No hanger in the bathroom to hang towels and no iron in the room. One of the worse hotels I have stayed at abroad. Pros: The hotel is close to the Munich train station HBF and across the street is a mall with a small grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. We discovered this mall the last night of our trip. I would not book again.
