Really enjoyed this hotel. It's located in a pretty and convenient location next to the river. The room was clean and had lots of useful little amenities. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE but a bit pricey, so as an alternative you could just go to the supermarket next door. I found the room to be a little hot and the mattress could have been padded more firmly, but otherwise a great stay and I would definitely come back in the future.
I returned to this place for a couple times now - for good reasons as you can guess. The rooms were always perfectly clean, generous and not less important very quiet. The rates are more than just fair, always included breakfast which is nice and even if it is more on a simple side it still offers all the choices. I would also guess that the central location next to the river Isar turns out perfect for just any reason that brings you to Munich - business or leisure. Arriving at any hotel around the world you probably consider friendly staff and good service as self-evident... sadly it becomes quite rare. Not in this place tho - that is for sure!!! Everybody seems well trained and were very polite and helpful at any time. I recommend that you give it a shot and enjoy your time in Munich.
Great long term stay hotel right next to the beautiful Isar River (a great place to go for a walk). It's right next to a grocery store, so shopping is extremely convenient (the grocery store is closed on Sundays). The staff were helpful and friendly. Very nice sauna and a small gym as well. The closest ubahn (Goetheplatz) is about 1 kilometer away and the area is full good restaurants. Nearby restaurants are nice as
Except on Sunday. Dont plan on buying anything on a Sunday afternoon after your plane arrives. The hotel had all the conveniences I come to expect on business travel. The REWE grocery store next door is very convenient as well. Two bus lines have stops 1 block away, and three U-Bahn stops are within a 5 minute bus ride. Also the price was fair for what I got. If you demand quiet and cant take city traffic on the street below, be sure to request a quiet side room (although the quiet side rooms are smaller).
Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with kitchenette. 2 free bottles of water & beer per day even if you didn't drink the ones from the day before. From front desk to restaurant to cleaning ladies, everyone spoke English very well & was very helpful. Located in a nice enough neighbourhood with a market next door & a convenience store / gas station & a very good Asian, Indian and 2 Italian restaurants a short walk away.
I believe that this is a good place to stay. Anyway considering the price and the quality I can give only average rating. FOr this price I would expect something special which did not come. Anyway you will not be badly surprise as well.
This is a late review sorry. I had booked this hotel thru hotwire. At first I was concerned but it turned out not to be that bad. We actually stayed here during Christmas. The hotel is a good location and we walked everywhere...including all the Christmas markets. It was nice to have a little kitchenette in the room. Right next to the hotel is a small grocery store. This is an older hotel, but i found it quaint. A bonus my husband enjoyed was the two free beer daily in our room :) The only downside I can think of is they need some new pillows. With all that said I would for sure stay there again and recommend it as well.
Good location near the Isar. Annoying to have to sign into WIFI every day for a 16 night stay, especially with 3 devices. Comfortable bed, kitchen with utensils, decent sized refrigerator. Rewe (grocery store) right next door. Close to bus stop. Could use a refresh, especially the carpet.
This hotel was recommended to us by a client, and the choice was a good one. Room had everything, including some free drinks in the minibar, instant coffe and a small well equiped kitchen. Good beds and very good pillows. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was also fair, but no more than that. Wi-fi was also good. I am not scoring higher because this hotel is advertised as a 4 star, however did not have room service or any alternatives for snack outside restaurant hours.
The hotel location is convenient to the old city, with a bus connection just across the road. There was a great choice of food for breakfast and the reception staff were very helpful in providing assistance for our flight departure check-in.
