I wasn’t acknowledged in any way till the person at the desk finished on the phone. I couldn’t lock the deadbolt. There was no shampoo. The closet door is broken. There were dried urine spots on the floor. The drawers on the dresser stuck out 5” and wouldn’t stay closed. The light at the elevator on the main floor was strobing. I’ve never left a list of complaints but feel you should know about these issues since it will keep me from returning. I’ve always felt Fairfield was a good place to stay since it’s in the Marriott line but I was extremely disappointed with this particular one. Patty Stewart, stayed 10/19/2021.
It was on our route and very clean.
Offered room 220 was substandard, with loud noise from appliances. Contactless checkin per Orbitz website information was not offered. Room was rejected after initial inspection. Hotel elevator has some issues - made sounds like a tractor. Expecting a refund from Orbitz.
Breakfast was poor. Room in good shape but some fixtures had rust on them. Seemed a little pricey for what the hotel is, a nice clean basic hotel.
The staff at check in was very nice and helpful. It was a quick check in.
need to at least have coffee and muffins etc in the morning!!! Very very disappointing!!!
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, lots of eating choices in the area.
Hotel staff very friendly. Clean, comfortable rooms.
The hotel was a good stop on the way to St. Louis. We had a mid-morning event and this location is just over an hour from the city. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.
Great and friendly staff. No issues except slow internet and poor breakfast selection.
Believe all of the positive reviews; it is a great facility !!
Very nice and clean place to stay when on the road.
The location was perfect for our travel timeline! The staff was friendly and made our check in seamless. The room was exceptionally clean. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. The breakfast menu options were to our liking! We know that our next stay would be easy to select, the Fairfield Inn
This hotel is immaculate, updated and the furniture, including the beds, are very comfortable. The towels are new and fluffy, the linens are very nice as well. Their complimentary breakfast is nicely put on - with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, hot oatmeal, toast, bagels, danish, fresh fruit, yogurt, dry cereal and all of the condiments as well. We have stayed here twice and have been very happy. The only reason I didn't give staff 5 stars is the young girl at the desk didn't know where the restaurant we were asking directions for was located and didn't offer any means to find out. She also was not groomed or dressed professionally. The rest of the staff we saw and interacted with were great. Highly recommend this hotel.
I'm a huge fan of the Marriott family of hotels, and this property does not disappoint. The room was clean, the front desk was friendly, and the free breakfast was awesome. The breakfast attendant was born for this job - you can really tell she loves it. Great place to stay while traveling to/through the 'Vern.
