Room was not clean. First off, it smelt like stale fart. We turned the fan on the a/c to run constantly and went out and bought microwaveable popcorn to mask the smell. Dead, and some live lady bugs on the floor and window sill shows it hadn’t been wiped or vacuumed in a while. Mass amount of build up of dust and hair around the baseboards particularly in the corners around the beds, a/c and heating unit, under the desk etc. Months of dust build up on flat surfaces like above the bed headboard. Soap stains that could easily be wiped off the glass shower door down low. Like the cleaner quickly wiped the top and didn’t bother to bend down and get the rest of it. Lobby was really nice but the room was extremely disappointing. Also disappointing I decided to pay more than the rate at the hotel next door that had better reviews, based on how nice the lobby area looked. I should have gone with the reviews, saved some money and perhaps had a cleaner room. Overall impression was a very lazy and tired attempt to run a hotel. That’s the first Double Tree by Hilton we’ve stayed in and might be our last.
