Beautiful property. My only issue is that there was a hockey tournament going on and like always, parents let their kids run wild while they drink and party in the lobby. The kids were in the pool unsupervised and it was like a zoo. They were screaming and doing cannonballs, diving, running up the slide instead of going down. Absolutely no regards to other people trying to enjoy the facilities. They were also in the gym soaking wet running on the treadmills. It was chaos. I was there with my grandchildren and not able to use the facilities. At one point a parent even came in with a beer in the water, doing cannonballs etc. Great influence. We ended up just leaving the pool and going back to our room. Also there were kids playing hockey with hockey sticks in the hallways. Anyways my point is there is no monitoring on the hotels behalf. I am aware there is no lifeguard but there should be some kind of monitoring and put a stop to this behavior. There are cameras everywhere but obviously no one paying attention. If this behavior is fine with the hotel then they should not book rooms to people not part of these tournaments since I am paying full price but not able to enjoy any of the facilities due to the chaos going on. Otherwise it is the responsibility of the hotel to ensure there is staff there that can control the behaviors. Overall this hotel is very nice and I would stay again but would ask first if there was a tournament and stay elsewhere if there was.
