August Trip

I didn't have international calling. Otherwise I would have changed my mind about breakfast. But that's not the hotel's fault. I do wish there was some other way to contact them, either via room service or some other way. Comfort and amenities were superb!

This is a very unique property, has all the amenities that the big boy hotels have but they have done it in a very smart way. Couldn’t get any closer to the Subway system. We just parked our car at the available parking and there and used transit for our whole stay. Love the stay and it was just steps away from the Bell Centre where we went to a concert. Thank you for the Stay, loved every moment of our trip!

This is a very nice place and great location being right next to the metro. Unfortunately reception was very rude to us. When we left a German couple arrived to check in and no one was at reception. They were without a phone so we called the number on the door and no one answered. We had to ask a cleaner to help them out. The number we called texted us a very rude message

The most beautiful thing about this property are very sweet women who maintain it and work in the kitchen very hard to please their guests every morning! This property is very clean. I have never stay in B&B that charges extra money for breakfast, but that is fine for 1 morning because Montreal has so many beautiful places around which no one should miss- especially their pastry and bagels. I am an early bird, however I recommend any room above the kitchen, because the rooms bellow- on the ground floor - can be a bit noisy in the morning (the noise is coming from the kitchen), but the rooms are tastefully decorated and the location of the hotel is convenient - next to the metro station. Overal, my 3 night's stay was pleasant, but all the credit goes to the ladies who work there!

We stayed here during our last visit to Montreal, a number of years ago, and it was excellent. This time around, we noticed things like the breakfast weren’t as good as the last visit but it was still fine. The fact that I offered my credit card to two different people to cover parking and breakfasts, was turned down twice, saying my card was on file and then being called repeatedly for the information, even though I had sent a message saying I would have to call once I was finished driving through northern Ontario (each day I finished driving, no one was at the desk at Bons Matins), receiving rude text messages, being threatened to have the matter escalated to Expedia, calling to take care of the payment and then receiving another threat three hours later through Expedia, has definitely left a sour taste in our mouths and we will definitely not stay at this establishment in the future.

Very clean in rooms, outdoor porches not so much. My friend had a 2nd floor room and she has difficulty walking. Had we realized we probably would not have booked. Breakfast was great, staff was great, location was great. We mostly used Uber to get to St Catherine st for $8.00 a trip. Metro across the street, safe neighborhood.
