Tough downtown neighborhoods with tent encampments nearby. Older building, rooms with 12-14' ceilings. Close to town, adequate but no frills

Central heating is very loud and there is no way to adjust it. Very limited parking and on-street parking isn't safe.

Room was clean and shower was excellent. Good choice of continental breakfast and coffee. It was also very quiet. The bus stop was just over the road taking you directly to the house metro.

The hotel itself is located in a beautiful neighbourhood and the interior decor is rustic and well done! Everything about the hotel was great. The room size could be bigger.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Manoir's location was ideal, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Our room was clean, although the bathroom could have been better maintained. It featured only a small shower, and I personally prefer having a bathtub to unwind after a long day. There was an unpleasant mothball smell in the hallway, but thankfully, the room itself was free of it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. While the breakfast wasn’t anything special, it was still good.

Elevator broke down ok nobody fault however I asked if someone could help us to come down with our luggage because we were on third floor and we are senior citizen. We were told by front desk she had to ask the manager who could help…. Really and there was no manager on site. Luckily I asked another person and was ever so pleasant and found someone to help. Really nothing much of restaurants around at walking distance, The hotel need refurbishing. Breakfast is excellent. Parking extremely limited on the property.

The breakfast service was excellent. Honestly, I booked this hotel just for the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and always listened to our concerns. The only downside was the towels, which could be cleaner. Other than that, it was worth what we paid. Plus, the location is great with efficient public transport nearby for easy access to downtown Montreal.

Great place. You need to use the metro or uber to get to the old city. Great restaurants walking distance. Surrounding neighborhoods a bit run down, but very safe. Staff were great. I would have appreciated free coffee in the morning. Continental breakfast was a bit slim. But then I would not have found the awesome patisserie nearby for breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Check-in is not the easiest. I a text message saying our room was ready, arrived, and the door code would not work. Come to find out later. It’s because we weren’t officially checked in even though I had received a text message saying so. After getting in the front door, we went up to our room and the door would not unlock again because we weren’t officially checked in even though I’ve gone through the process online. The front desk attendant assured us it was unlocked, had to go back upstairs. It was knocked. Then had to come back downstairs to get him to come up. He tried it, and it would not unlocked for him. He had to reset it. Again, not a huge deal, but not the easiest of check-in’s and definitely needs improvement
