Room was nice and clean, can't complain for the cost. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member

I would not recommend staying on ground floor, the A/C-heater blows all the time, and you'll hear it in the rooms. Staff super friendly.

we like the hotel a lot, it has European feeling the staff was great, they work to accommodated all our needs, the fee includes breakfast and free parking.

The trip was pretty amazing. My wife and I had an excellent time while we were in Montreal. 10 minute walking distance to the subway, which took us anywhere in the city. Bike system was decent overall the hotel experience was pretty great. The staff was really friendly and helpful to what ever questions that we had. Would most definitely go back and to there

This motel is a conversion of old postoffice and located at slum-like residential area. No major restaurants or conveninet stores in walking distance. Once you find a spot to park your car, you don't want to move it becaue you will not find one when you come back from your drive-round. Room had old smell and the bathroom was tiny!

Personnel was helpful. Good breakfast. Nice accommodation.

the room is dirty and the place is awful. It is not a good hotel.

The room was very nicely decorated and mostly clean (they need to remember to dust up high, I saw cob webs on the light sconce. In our room the air vent cover was missing so there was basically a hole in the wall. Not a major deal but a detail that should not be over looked. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant and helpful staff; bi-lingual. Good value. Quiet, clean, safe. Neighborhood was not attractive but that was expected. Short drive into centre ville.

Budget place to stay. 10 minute to subway. The breakfast is mediocre (cereal, juice, coffee)

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived at nearly 10pm at night. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio/deck in the morning enjoying the sunshine.

We had rush trip to montreal and needed to get the cheapest room near centre-ville. The building is old and it feels like a hostel more than a hotel, but it worked well. It offered everything they said and more. We had a shared bathroom room, and showers were clean and had adequate water pressure. The staff was more than welcoming and good natured. We found wifi in the lobby only, with speed that wasn't that fast but was enough.

The location is kind of far from everything else that is for tourists, but it's not that bad, if you have a car. Please note that driving in Montreal could be a little bit of a disaster. The building was kinda old, but you can't complain, since you are not paying hundreds of dollars for a one-night stay. Breakfast was kind of a joke. The glass for milk and orange juice was SO small that I thought I was drinking tequila shots in the morning. That has been said, the overall quality of the place was ok, only because of the price, comparing to those which cost $1200 a night closer to the center of the city.

Our room was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The staff was very helpful, she helped us plan the itinerary and informed us about events. There is a balcony on the 3rd floor with a nice view of the river and one can see the fireworks on weekend nights from there. Free breakfast and free parking is a great bonus. One thing we didn't like was the neighbourhood around the hotel, walking to and from the subway stations wasn't pleasant, try and avoid it by taking bus 34 to Papineau and back.

for 40 - 50 bucks a night you really cant go wrong with this hotel. perfect for the traveller on a budget in need of a bed and shower. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. This isn't a hotel for someone looking to live like a king but it does provide a nice place to sleep with a great view and location on st. catherine. I would recommend it to everyone who wants money in their wallet, but not a picky family looking for a giant room.

Friendly and helpful management, but hotel was not up to par. Clean but lacking in amenities, such as shortage of towels, no tissues, no clock, TV defective or very poor signal. Neighborhood not the most desirable. Highly inflated room rates, due to Formula 1 race going on,

The hotel is actually a boarding house of sort, and most rooms don't have a private bathroom or shower. Reading about this in another review, we ordered the deluxe room which does, and it was very much worth the money, especially when you consider the low prices. The woman who received us took 20-30 minutes of her time to help us plan our visit to Montreal, with a map and detailed explanations, and was really helpful in every way. Breakfast, included in the price, left something to be desired. Still, it was enough to get us through the first part of the day. All things considered, this was a good place to stay, especially with a car (although parking space is limited), and the hotel is as close to the downtown area as to the Olympic stadium.

This is a nice hotel, small and quiet that is off the beaten path and in a good location for easy vehicle access and parking.

This delightful little hotel is clean, professional, and very friendly. The free breakfast each morning was a great way to start each day and the location is quiet, yet downtown and attractions are close by. The price point is great and the accommodations are comfortable. Thanks for a great New Year's weekend!

This was a great place for the family. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. There was no common area in our room but we were busy all day and the adults had privacy as well as did the teenagers. The bathroom was small but clean. The free breakfast was really good and a casual self-serve of pastries, bagels, toast, oj, coffee and tea. There was free internet and parking. The maid service could be better but our requests were quickly serviced. The location is on St. Catherine St. East, which was 15 minutes drive from the town center. It is also located past the "Gay Village". The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I forgot my laptop charger cord and they mailed it to me for no charge!
