An amazing hotel!

We had a lovely two night stay, Rudy on the front desk was fantastic, helpful, and informative, the room was a little dated but in excellent condition complete with fridge, coffee, microwave and plenty of space. The breakfast they served was really nice and their amenities including their happy hour was great. Would stay again!

What we liked: Happy hour was great. The water dispenser in the patio was great. Room was super clean. The location of the inn was fantastic- close to downtown and the beach. What could be improved: Room had a musty smell. All night, there was a noise from upstairs( foot steps). Pillows were too thin. Breakfast was underwhelming. At $500 per night, a room with those conditions and facing parking lot felt overpriced- even in Carmel.

I actually really loved my stay here bc sucker for real fireplace which made our couple stay intimate and special to me. He was able to relax and we ate n unwind to enjoy each other. But was disappointed the room I elected and reserved was change without notice and was not given advisement of the change during check in. What I reserved was what I expected

We loved staying here and absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody looking to spend time in the Carmel/Monterey area. This hotel is a bit up the street from the main shopping area, which is nice if you want somewhere quiet. We liked that breakfast was included as a picnic basket delivered to the room each morning; much better than having to find breakfast in town each day! The woman who checked us in was particularly friendly and helpful - when we told her we would not need the basket delivered the first morning due to leaving for an early morning whale watch, she provided us with one in advance the night before so we could still have something to eat. This was such a nice, thoughtful touch.

Great place to stay!

This is a great value for the area. The staff was very nice and helpful, and we loved the happy hour. I didn't necessarily realize that our room would be across the street, but it wasn't too far, and everything else was very comfy!

The place is clean and cozy. We stayed at one of the cottages across the street, which had a jacuzzi. Breakfast was delivered every morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the attractions of Carmel-by-the-sea are within a walk distance (albeit a bit hilly). Don't expect much "ocean views" from any window.

This property was in a great location, walkable to many shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the property was very clean. Our only disappointment was that the bed was not comfortable and the small square, flat pillows need to be replaced with regular size pillows. Very uncomfortable.
