Can’t beat the location. Staff was excellent. Bed was comfy. Coffee was great (wish they served 1/2 & 1/2 rather than a creamer-creamer feels wrong for the charm of the place). Overall I would stay again! Loved the little healthy breakfast basket that c and to the room every morning too. Thank you Monte Verde Inn!

Great location. Walkable to most anything. The parking situation is a little sketchy if you have a medium-large vehicle. There is also not any kind of storage for your suitcases, so our 2 suitcases took up much of our floorspace. The front dest was polite but when our toilet wouldnt flush. They never sent anyone over. They just said "hold the handle down." Which wasnt the problem. So my husband had to tinker in the back of the toilet for 20 min to rig it to flush. The delvery of breakfast in the morning was lovely. It was a pretty good breakfast. The brandy in the room should probably be handled a different way. There were 2 recovering alcoholics in our party that struggled with its presence. Pehaps it would be better to ask if it could/should be delivered to the room. Rather than assuming. 1st thing in the morning (7am ish) we were awoken to a busy staff, rolling big carts to the laundry, cleaning carts, and theres no way to sleep beyond that noise so we just left at that point. It was an okay stay. But if i were to do it again, I'd choose somewhere else to stay.
We liked that it was on the first floor as we had bikes and easy to bring in the room!

We thought we would be staying at Mont Verde Inn, but at check in they took us to the inn across the street which is different. Pros: great staff, clean room, free parking, and great location. Cons: the room they put us in is basically a freshly painted old motel room. Thin walls and you can hear everything. The bed is not comfortable at all. The pillows and linens are very basic and uncomfortable. TV remote partially doesn’t work. Wi-fi is spotty. Overall, we feel duped.
