Close to Monterey, nice beach and close to grocery store. Clean and comfortable

Perfect location to Toro Park, 15-20 min drive. Has breakfast in the morning which is nice. Perfect hotel for what we needed.

Don't expect to get a good nights sleep as the hotel is next to noisy Hwy 1. It was really hard to sleep hearing all the cars passing by. Other then that, it was good. Walking distance to the beach. Make sure you bring ear plugs so you can sleep if you want to stay at this hotel.

The hotel was decent. Plenty of parking, and an easy walk to the beach. Room was clean and bathroom was decent. Breakfast in the morning was good. My biggest complaint about this place is that the walls are incredible thin. It took forever to fall asleep because I could here every step people were taking in nearby rooms.

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Large shower. Nice accommodations with a refrigerator. Unfortunately, kids were running up and down the stairs at 0930 hours. It was annoying.

Only stayed for one night. upstairs guests were constantly pounding the floor above us until 11pm. I assumed there was a pool when pics showed a spa on website. Staff were helpful when asked about location and amenities.

I was a bit disappointed in the hotel. The pictures were better than the actual hotel. The beds were very comfortable and it looked pretty clean but was very dated. I have asthma and don't smoke and noticed the room maid standing in front of every room both days I was there, with the doors open and a cigarette in her hand. Not very professional in my opinion! The 'breakfast' was a bit daunting. It was in what appeared to be a basement room with no real windows and very dark. I looked around and just grabbed a cup of coffee because there wasn't much to choose from. I've stayed at other Best Westerns in and area that were very nice. I don't think I'll be visiting this one again. I'll pay the extra money and stay somewhere nicer. No pride of ownership at this one. But on a good note!! If you want to be near the Dunes, it's a perfect place to stay. Walking distance.

it was a great trip and the family really enjoyed. The rooms were nice and clean.

it was a great stay the rooms where nice and clean

Filthy room. Air Conditioning had stuff in it that blew everywhere when turned on. I was told it would be fixed, but upon returning to my room that evening, noticed it was still mucked up. when I called the front desk, they said it hadnt'/couldn't be fixed and said I had to move. Asked why I hadn't been notified by phone or message, was told they were waiting for me to come back. Inattentive staff. Price wasn't bad, but service and experience made it unacceptable.

Great location. It wasn't too long of a drive to the fairgrounds. I would have to say, the only problem we came across was that we had to ask the cleaning ladies to please come in and exchange our towels and throw our trash away. They didn't do that the first night we stayed. Other than that, we had a great time here and well worth our money

They first told me i could do an early check-in sincen i had a baby, that did not happen and we ended up waiting for an hr. The toilet in our room was broken and wasnt fixed till 10 min before we left. The room didnt smell fresh at all, and the staff wasnt very helpful.

this was a wonderful experience had a lot of fun the room was clean but had a couple of spiders in it. had to get rid of them the location from the aquarium was a little further than we expected but it was right there by the beach so it made up for it.

it was a perfect getaway hotel is really close to monterey we loved it.

quiet, pleasant, nondescript... very predictable and easy.

Lucky to secure this room on a crowed ATT weekend in Monterey area. For such a late booking, this room and hotel were better than anticipated. Friendly, helpful staff and clean facility.

This hotel was nice and clean, staff friendly. The beach access was right across the street. Only bad part was parking areas in full size truck. Other than that, nice place with play area for kids

Stayed overnight & it's a very relaxing time after a long drive. Highly recommendable to other motorists, friends & family. If only the wifi was working it would have been perfect.

Away from the other big name hotels - just secluded enough for quiet & privacy yet walking distanance to ocean on one side and Walmart a few minutes walking distance on other side. Don't expect ocean view!! but a nice peaceful walking path next to sand dunes.. At first glance the lobby appeared dusty and somewhat unkept (candy wraper & dust on floor & out of t-paper in lobby bathroom). We were a bit nervous but the two rooms we received were very clean and the staff were very accomodating and pleasant.

The weather was beautiful and enjoyed ourselves very much!

I apologize that you did not get a restful nights sleep due to the highway noise but am please to read that the accommodations met your expectations and you were able to enjoy the beautiful beach across the street. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have you back as our guest
