This appeared to be a converted drive in motel from the 1960’s. The registration area was a 10x10 room at the back of a small gas station convenience store. In the motel room, the lampshade was broken, small tv with not great reception, furniture very old, bathroom had holes in sheetrock above shower curtain. The reviews were very deceptive; not accurate, but probably written by relatives of the owners. The male staff were very unfriendly, except for one of the younger guys. I would not stay here again under any circumstances. Spend the extra $50 and stay at a reputable chain.

When we arrived, we thought we had the wrong address. The photos advertised are completely different from the reality of the hotel. It's located right behind a gas station. Very noisy! The room was okay, although the floor was quite cold, without carpet. We stayed for 3 days and nobody cleaned our room! The worst part was the advertised breakfast! A paper bag with 2 bananas, 1 yogurt, a packaged bread roll, and 1 granola bar. It's shocking that they advertise having breakfast! This shouldn't be served to guests! I would be ashamed. The only good thing was the service from Raul, who was very helpful and friendly.

All in all, this was not a bad place. It was less than a mile and a half from the highway and there was a grocery store right down the street and it was about 10 to 15 miles away from Monterey the young man at the desk I forgot his name unfortunately he seemed to be in his early 20s was very knowledgeable and gave me information about where to give breakfast lunch and dinner from and then also the continental breakfast was also nice. This is a very nice quiet place to stay. I cannot say anything bad.

Great place to get some sleep while visiting the Monterey area. Very reasonably priced and friendly from desk folks. The cable box went out in my room and this super nice guy who was manning the front desk attime immediately sprung into actuon and got me a new cablle boc for my room. The problem was foxef withing minutes. I noticed the place was significantly spruced up thee I last stayed here years ago. They conveniently give you a bagged breakfast (banana, tangerine, yogurt and pastry) to go in the mornings. There's a gas station out front, but it was absolutely quiet at night, and it is really convenient to fill up there and hit the road.
