This hotel is new and staff are so friendly. The indoor pool is clean but a little bit small. Overall is a very good hotel for fair price.

Nice hotel, very convenient especially if you have kids.

Safe and nice location. The hotel staff is responsive and friendly! Recommended!

Nice and clean. Great facilities. The whole family had a blast.

My only complaint is that I didn't know that Marriott points are not earned when I book thru Orbitz.

Very disappointing for the price and to be called a suite, in no way this is a suite. The bathroom was in the middle of the room with no privacy, no tub (sucks when you have small kids), small station with a fridge and microwave with no sink (horrible if someone is in the bathroom and you need to wash your hands etc.) We had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa which was all dirty when crumbs of food and bed shits had ink on them. Took house keeping 1 hr to come clean the room. Worst experience, will never recommend to anyone!

Excellent hotel for families! The pool is small which is actually just the right size for kids to play in. Great bar, very good breakfast, and lots of stores and restaurants across the street. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Nice stay-need to finish clean up and working out how the hotel operates.

Hotel is new and staff friendly. Breakfast was good, but not enough and ran out of everything due to number of guests. Facilities are minimal. Caution-- very, very noisy location. Walls very thin and hard to sleep. You will hear everything in the rooms next door. Do not get a room overlooking the fire pit in front of the hotel or you will be listening to every conversation out there until late at night. That accompanied by the sounds from room next door equals no sleep!

The staff was vey friendly, and the location was convenient. The room was comfortable but it was an awkward layout. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Booked an overnight anniversary stay for my wife and I to get away. The hotel is nice as it should be given its brand new. What needs to be improved upon is the training of the night audit and graveyard staff. We were assigned the first room away from the lobby which contains a small bar and dining area. Meeting rooms were adjacent to our room as well with a business opportunity meeting being held until almost 9pm which was fine. It was the 2am music and voices from the lobby that awoke me. It was so loud that I could easily identify song and artist!. I couldn't believe the front desk staff would allow such a noise level at that hour given rooms are so close to that area. The noise and music did not subside until almost 3am. I think the owner needs to decide if he wants just a standard property like other Marina hotels or one competitive with other higher end hotels in the area. The location is great for an evening away but given the room rate and experience I would drive passed it next time and take my wife to a hotel I have had no such experience at before.

Very nice hotel! We only stayed for 1 night as a quick getaway, but it was very nice! The staff were very friendly, room was nice and very clean and modern. We were on the first floor and expected it to be noisy, but it was actually pretty quiet. There was even a free breakfast: cereal, oatmeal, yogurts, fruit, muffins and toast, bagels, coffee, tea, juices, and eggs and sausage. Its a good location, right off highway 1, shopping center across the street, not a long drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Fisherman's Wharf (10 minutes at the most). We didn't stay long enough to use the pool or gym, or eat at the bar/restaurant. The only negatives I can give is that there was no pancakes or waffles in the breakfast (my husband was more disappointed than I was about this, I eat light for breakfast). The bathroom door was a bit hard to lock. Overall, a nice place to stay! Will stay again!

June 2017, this is a brand new hotel. Very clean. We had 5 people in our room. The couch had a pull out trundle underneath with a regular mattress, so not the old fashion fold out sofa mattress which is always severely uncomfortable. My very tall niece slept on the trundle and was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was mayhem but not because of the staff or hotel. The other guests were rude and pushy, almost animalistic. Hotel is conveniently located near Carmel and Monterey. Also across the street was a new shopping area with a Target, Old Navy, restaurants, movie theater, etc. Would definitely stay here again.
