The room STANK. The furniture looked like it had survived a tornado. Splash marks up the walls. They charged me twice for one room. Oh, and you have to know that some rooms you lift the handle UP to open it, not down. Because who knows.
The breakfast could bw better.
Our key quit working for our room, staff told us we would have to crawl through the window to access our room which I had my grandson do. The window had no lock, also no lock on entrance getting into the building as it was duct taped, very unsafe. Turned the air conditioner on and started smelling like something was burning, staff was called, and we were told we turned the heat on by mistake and that is why we were smelling the burnt electrical smell. I pulled the plug out of the sink, and it was dripping with black molding hair. I took my Grandsons to the indoor supposedly heated pool, what a joke, truly was Motel Hell, I would tell anyone to run don't walk from this motel. So pissed I was charged for this, I should have been charging them. If I would have had another option, this particular weekend, God knows I would have taken it.
The hotel seems like a good value - access to the pool, breakfast items, affordable - but there were many issues. The hallways were dirty and the carpets need to be replaced. But the real kicker was that there was no hot water in the rooms and the breakfast was not available due to Carbon Monoxide alarms going off. There are signs encouraging people to not back into spaces near the building because it will set the alarms off. If you need that many signs, it is a design issue that needs to be fixed. When everything went wrong in the morning, it would have been nice if the manager was there to apologize and offer some sort of discount for the inconvenience.
No hot water!!!
It was fine for the price
A nice stopover with good amenities and a decent breakfast
Yes, the hotel met expectations for price. Staff was friendly and professional. Location was great for nearby attractions. Breakfast is always same at hotels so I never expect to eat those anyway. But food was ok, coffee was great.
Great location. Restaurants nearby. Right off the interstate.
OK for the money would stay here again in the future.
If you happen to be in Dundee, then this is a fine place to stay. As far as the look and feel, it is what you would expect from a Quality Inn. It is a bit dated, but was very clean. There is a pool, so if you're into that kind of thing then you're stoked. The best part about this Quality Inn was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. They have the typical free breakfast, which is usually just self-serve, but they prepare bring it to you at your table. It doesn't sound like much, but the staff did make this place a nicer place to stop over for the night.
Very friendly staff. Wish the pool hours were extended for late arrivals. Continental breakfast was wonderful. Room was clean and the right temperature.
we just spent one night, we were going to the nascar race. it was a great location. very clean.
base boards in room were missing, cable went out while we were there. does not look like they are doing maintenance, gets worse every year we stay there.
Nothing special here. Hot tubs jets were broken, breakfast just ok. Would stay again if traveling with our kids (indoor pool) otherwise would try competitors. Bill that was provided at check out did not match what was billed to my card either.
The room was very clean, and the choices for breakfast were also good. The hot tub was not very warm, and the equipment in the fitness center did not work. But overall we enjoyed our stay here at Quality Inn .
I took my father to the Michigan Speedway for Father's Day and found this hotel about 30 minutes away from the track. The hotel was nice, quiet, with comfy beds, clean. Nice breakfast bar with a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, etc. Air conditioning worked very well and was quiet. A few items that would've made this a four star stay and not a three star: Hardly any water pressure in the shower, and the sink was outside of the bathroom. The chain lock to the room was broken, so the only lock to the door was the key card lock.
