Last time we visited the resort was in 2016. And you could tell the difference. Which shouldn’t be. Things should have improved over time yet it didn’t. The hotel is outdated. We had to move 3 times to get a standard room that met our expectations and they actually still didn’t meet our expectations but my daughter and I still had a blast and made the best of it. The morning of check out, i called to get a late check out and to get more towels but the phones were down. So instead of enjoying our room and the bed, i was forced to get up and go to the front desk. There was no complimentary breakfast. I even inquired and was told there would be coffee but by the morning, there was no coffee. The elevators weren't working and there was a leakage in the business center area. The bath tubs are rusted and the info you see on the phones to call the front desk are no longer attached to the phones. The staff was really nice and accommodating and we really enjoyed the manager Jerry. He was really nice and helpful, making sure our stay was pleasant. We walked to the Great Lakes restaurant and there food was excellent. My daughter enjoyed the water park and didn’t want to leave so we will back with her other siblings soon! Overall, we had an amazing stay and will go back.
