I booked a room for 6/28/20. Upon check in, I was told that there is no reservation under my name. After a few minutes, the receptionist found out that my reservation was messed up . Their system showed 07/8/20 instead. She called some where to fix it and I had to wait even a few more minutes until I finally checked in. The lady who was working at the reception provided me an upgrade to the original reservation and I got a bigger room.

This hotel is deceiving. The lobby has been updated, but the rooms are in terrible condition. The housekeeping staff is either untrained or doesn’t care about their jobs.

Super friendly staff greeting us at check in. Friendliness continued with morning breakfast and front desk staff as well. Room clean and comfortable. Though near freeway, freeway sound did not disrupt stay at all.

We had problems with our toilet 2 times but they fixed it correctly the second time.

No body wash, no oatmeal or pancake mix at breakfast

Got locked out of room, staff member happening to be coming down hall, told him what happened so he let me in room. The problem was he never verified that I was even staying at hotel, very scary for a single women.

Close to family and restaurants clean & comfortable

Very comfortable stay. Staff courteous and helpful. Just what I wanted. I have friends in every direction and this location is perfect. For the money it’s hard to beat.

Lobby was under construction, there is next door construction. Rooms got a facelift, but overall you can still see the age of the place. Door to room would stick, air unit was dirty with construction debris. Bathroom still had hair trimmings from previous guest. Our unit had a balcony, but it connected to another unit. Used by neighboring guests, were loud and smoking late into the night. Morning breakfast was weak. Bruised fruit, stale breads.

Much better lighting in the room, but no light over microwave and coffee maker making it difficult to read buttons. Awakened at 5:15 am by noisy garbage collectors. Shower had mildew in the corners. No hot egg dishes for breakfast since renovation in the kitchen is not complete. TV Guide (list of channels) in binder in roomwas not accurate.

It would have been nice if the website had mentioned that the hotel was being extensively renovated. Even to get onsite you have to drive through the construction activity of what appears will be a neighboring hotel. The HIE itself is being renovated, so there is considerable dust and noise (starting at 7am.) I was peeved to find that the fitness room was unavailable due to the renovation, and the breakfast was minimal as well because, you guessed, the kitchen was under renovation. If the hotel is not planning to provide the advertised amenities, it should be made clear at the time of reservation.

Checked in before a medical procedure at nearby Friedert Hospital. The front desk clerk (a woman named Carolyn) was terrific...she arranged transport for me from the motel to the hospital, gave me lots of extra supplies and wished me luck. Nice human touch.

No laundry facilities, no pool, had to ask to water due to them not refilling filter water jug, had to ask for sugar at coffee bar ect ect. Overall a decent sleep but the amenties not great and staff is a bit lax

Clean, convenient. Pleasant. Breakfast provided. Good TV and Wi-Fi. Handy to shopping.

the pillows were to soft but everything else was pretty good thanks

For the price Holiday Inn Express Wauwatosa is a fabulous value. Room is more than adequate, nice little gym, close to shopping/food and has a breakfast that is more than ok. Only issue I saw with the room was the heat unit-coils were covered in dust and since it was 5 degrees, heater had to be changed a few times. Each time I looked at the layers of dust I wondered when the last time it was cleaned. Overall, for the price, it gets an A-

We have used this hotel in the past an knew it was in the perfect location for what we needed. The check in staff was almost indifferent and we did not deal with anyone else, so our only impression of the staff was the non-welcome check in. Other than that, the room was clean, quite and well appointed. We will stay there again, no doubt!

It is a very nice hotel with great rooms at an excellent price value. Hotel staff is helpful and polite. For my work it is a good location with easy highway access and lots of places nearby to eat.

A very ordinary room with a coffee pot. It was Harley weekend so hotels ripped everyone off to the max! We were there to visit family so paid the highway robbery prices.
