It was clean, the people working were very friendly

The management team was extremely attentive, even though they have some work going on there the staff was great.

Loud neighbors, could hear every door knock and slam, but overall a nice place to stay at a good price

Close to everything in downtown Milwaukee. All is walk-able from this location. Staff was excellent and accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite at no charge. Only wish that the rooms with two beds had queens instead of doubles.

Great hotel and location, breakfast was good staff was nice

Nice hotel, very clean. Close to a lot of bars, shopping and restaurants

Great hotel in downtown Milwaukee. Easy to navigate around town from this location. King suite was great for our needs. Breakfast was really good too with lots of variety.. overall great stay !!

This is our “go to” hotel when we come to Milwaukee. Casey at the front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast team on Sunday was exceptional. Didn’t get the man’s name but he made sure all the food items were replenished quickly and was very friendly. Only down side is the pillows in the rooms (which is why I gave room comfort a rating of 2) Wasn’t just this trip, it has been true every tome we stayed at this hotel, they are terrible. They are so flat it is as if you don’t even have a pillow, even when doubling up.

Good location. Requested a king bed, very comfy. But also needed a cot for my daughter. Was told that the hotel did not have any. So she ended up sleeping on the floor for 2 nights (hotel was packed and could not get us a different room). This was a very busy weekend for Milwaukee so we understood. The hotel was definitely packed...the breakfast buffet had a long wait for food between 8 and 10am...but the food was pretty good. The pool is very small...more like a large strip of water. Overall, the hotel was ok but I've had much better experiences at other Hampton Inns.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown. Parking is $15/night in an attached city garage. Indoor pool and spa tub, free breakfast buffet. Room was large and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent. No complaints at all. Excellent hotel.

Valet was very convenient and staff was very friendly and helpful.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Riverside Theater and downtown attractions. We did not spend too much time at the hotel but all aspects of what a hotel should offer was evident and we were pleased with our stay there.

The hotel was clean but we really didn't care for the bed or the pillows. Also, the TV kept losing connection to the satellite service. I told the hotel clerk about it several times, and his only response was that it was a problem with the provider, and that the provider was aware of it. There was no urgency on the part of the hotel to try and get the provider to get it fixed.

Clean and friendly staff. Our family will very likely return.

Friendly staff arranged an early check-in so we could park and walk to nearby convention at WI Center. Room was clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable with lots of pillows. Quiet with no issues at all. We were a bit bummed when we found that the pool and spa were closed for routine repairs but no big deal. Decent breakfast but I think I'll skip the turkey sausage next time. Very well located; across from Shops of Grand Avenue Mall. Walked around the corner to the Rock Bottom Brewery for a tasty dinner and beer. Looking forward to going back when its not in the middle of a blizzard and we can enjoy the outdoor riverfront walk.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee Downtown does not offer rollaway beds at all. This was an unfortunate surprise for us, as we now had a child who slept on couch cushions on the floor. They tried to explain this was due to a maximum number of people per room - but we had 3 adults and one child, and the room was rated for 4 people. But, the child belonged to the couple and the other adult was not comfortable sleeping on the pull out couch with the child, which was why we wanted the rollaway bed. Rollaway beds don't exist at this hotel, despite what it says on the website. In addition, the Orbitz credit card was declined (I'd already paid in full to Orbitz), and they put the full charge on my credit card that day and also the full charge on the next day. I am glad that I had that much room on my credit card and wasn't needing it for the trip. They did straighten it out the evening of the second day, but I did waste over an hour standing at the front desk arguing with them that it was not my fault that Orbitz could not update their own credit cards. And the "pending" charges weren't dropped for 3 days after that. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful, as much as they could be, as they were stuck on hold with the main office. But, Not my idea of a fun trip.

I would recommend this hotel. It was a quick walk to the Wisconsin center. The hot tub jets didn't work, but the pool and hot tub were functional and ok. The work out space was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful (small PC issue when I was checking in but they were helpful and quick to figure out how to get us in). The breakfast is good and rotated some variety. All of us found something we liked everyday. The hot water and coffee all day long was helpful for us. The parking was easy to use and get to from the hotel.
