We visited Milwaukee to see A Christmas carol at the Pabst. The hotel is extremely convenient! We walked to the Pabst and a few restaurants nearby. The hotel was very quiet but a special shoutout to Brian and Vanessa! Brian was the breakfast host and went above and beyond! he is very efficient, continually stocks food and incredibly friendly! Brian went out of his way to make us feel welcome! Vanessa works the front desk-she is friendly, helpful and caring. What a great staff!
Upon arrival room wasn’t ready however staff offered upgrade & was immediately able to check in.
Dated property
Was the Night of game 6 of the NBA Finals…. Front desk was Understaffed only one lady felt bad for her every one was trying to check in right away at check in time … some rooms weren’t ready …. But front desk lady was great with all the stress of everyone wanting to get into there room
The hotel is nice, but it could be cleaner. Some towels in my room were stained, had make from previous guest. The bed covers were also stained, very disappointing. The first thing we saw when we walked in the hotel was that one elevator was out of service (had just gotten stuck) and the other had the flooring cracked. Some good maintenance is needed.
Coffee pot broken, tv channels didn’t work, didn’t serve breakfast even though it said it had it, only 2 towels in the bathroom
Staff was very friendly, hotel and room were clean. Despite signs stating masks were required inside by all guests, no other guests wore masks and there was no enforcement of these posted rules. Small but annoying thing was our bedsheets did not fit the mattress, so we were sleeping on an uncovered mattress.
The front desk staff was amazing - in particular Janice. She went above and beyond to ensure my visit was perfect.
The condition of the hotel was in rough shape and the room could’ve been in better condition. The bathroom needed to be wiped down and their was some minor damage to furniture in the bedroom
No extra tp and no cups for coffee??
Excellent, clean and comfortable. Great location, readily available parking. Exterior is a bit tired like much of downtown Milwaukee.
Worn out and tired. Unfriendly staff. Not your usual Hampton Inn quality.
We loved the hotel. It’s well kept and in a perfect location close to the River Walk. We just have a recommendation to improve the quality of beds. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the fitted sheet kept sliding off the mattress, so you ended up sleeping on the mattress half the night. Otherwise, we’d recommend.
It was affordable and it was also right in the middle of downtown. We just had to walk out of the building and everything we wanted to see was right there or just a short distance away. The staff was hella cool and the room was great. Highly reccommend.
Sleep was next to impossible due to a “clanging” blouse during the night.
