Great weekend spot

We had a great time staying here with our young kids. The owners were super nice and communicative, the place was charming and perfect with kids. They provided a pack and play which they set up for us and worked great. Would definitely stay here again!

A Great Short Stay

My wife and I stayed here for the second year running. A lovely guest house behind the main house, furnished for a very comfortable stay. Bedroom has a great bed and living room has a fold out bed that’s unusually comfortable! … Small but fully equipped kitchen. Same for the bathroom. Easy and efficient communication with the host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet residential area with convenient on street parking.

Gorgeous Construction

Had a lovely night here on the edges of Mt. Tam. Everything we needed was there, and what a beautiful place. Thoughtfully built and cared for with a tender hand. A truly special place.

Refreshing Relaxing Stay

Beautiful quiet neighborhood and the cottage is behind main house, ample street parking. Love the garden setting! A great spot to stay and trek to walking trails to Richardson Bay. Sweet artsy decor. And thank you for the gift from one of your featured artists. 😀 a well-stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. Overall a very relaxing vacay for East Bay folks! Happy to recommend !

Amazing stay!!

we had the absolute best time here! we came for a wedding and Caroline and family were so accommodating! They even gave us doggy bags and treats for our two little loves. Such an amazing time, can't recommend enough!

Very good stay

I am on vacation with my family for the first time in California, and we stayed in this beautiful house. The house is very well maintained, exactly as described, and the hostess has always been very attentive and caring towards us. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay

We were so very comfortable in Caroline’s guest house. She was a gracious hostess, being attentive to our needs, and yet respecting our privacy. Super close to John Muir beach where we spent the day. Highly recommend this property.

Peaceful and Cozy

This cozy home was in a wonderful and safe location. It was minutes away from The Golden Gate Bridge, Little Italy and Alcatraz. Me along with my husband and 2 teenage children absolutely loved it. It had just enough space for us all. The sitting area outside was our favorite to relax at the end of our day. Our host always replied quickly, over text and phone call. We will definitely be going back!

Wonderful Place!

We stayed for almost a week in this cute, perfect little home. Caroline was super accomodating for whatever we needed. The place was clean, had everything we needed to cook meals, perfect for a family of 4. Loved it and would certainly book again if we come to the San Fran area for another vacation or anything, a lot more quite and peaceful than San Fran! Had a wonderful time, thank you!!

Pleasant overnight in Mill Valley

Stayed one night as part of a six day traveling California coast visit for a family of four, two parents and two teenage daughters. Nice quiet location, very friendly host, we used much of what the property had to offer in the short time we were there, which added to our whole trip. We made a dinner in the kitchen being a pasta meal that included baking a medium sized pizza we bought from the Whole Foods nearby. Then the next morning had our breakfast pastries, fruit, and coffees before heading back out. We stayed there after a long family hike starting in Muir Woods and into Mt. Tamalpais state park. So the house being close to the trails, groceries, and restaurants offered a great spot to rest and recover. After our dinner and evening television we opened the window and only heard the sounds nature before going to sleep and well after awakening. Would stay there again if we were to visit Mill Valley and nearby surrounding area in the future. Have to mention that the kitchen had a well designed and very functional island, which added to the properties charm and overall high degree of utility.

Wonderful!

We had a lovely relaxed stay. The gardens leading to the cottage were beautiful and the space was thoughtfully designed. I loved that it had real art and that there we could read about the artists and the craftspeople who built the cottage and the furniture in it. It was a great place to spend a quiet evening of our trip.

Lovely little spot in Mill Valley

The little rental cottage was just perfect for our needs. It was spotlessly clean, in a perfect quiet location, and our host Caroline was wonderful. She definitely put a lot of thought and consideration into this cottage. I highly recommend using this as a home base when visiting the Mill Valley area.

Beautiful, private little apartment

- absolutely gorgeous, welcoming property, lovely little patio for having tea in the morning - very comfortable bed - host was very responsive - need to close the bedroom doors when sleeping, the motion-triggered lights are very bright otherwise - the skylights are wonderful, though the opening mechanism is confusing. Highly recommend taking a shower in the morning - within easy (~30min) walk to stores/grocery/cafes/etc - don't recommend the trails within easy walking distance unless you're an experienced (California!) hiker. I've hiked a lot in Ontario, but that trail is *steep*

Great Garden Stay

Our modern, one-bedroom home was terrifically thought out, comfortable and well located for our 10 day stay. Fully equipped and very clean. We even managed an over-night by our granddaughters (8 & 5). Small yard allowed our dog to stretch and for us to take in the sun. Dedicated parking removed that hassle. Quiet neighborhood close to stores and convenient to Sausalito to Mill Valley. We'll be happy to return.
