This is a very good value hotel very close to Porta di Mare metro stop. Surrounding area is not the most delightful but we did find a decent inexpensive restaurant nearby (actually one next door which we thought was closed, was in fact open as we found out as we walked back to hotel). We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice, plenty of room and very good beds for first time in two weeks' touring Italy. Tea and coffee in room appreciated. Breakfast adequate, checkin a bit slow. Decor a bit old with slightly grubby carpets etc. Would use again as it is comfortable and great value.
One of the best hotels in Milan if you are looking for a big size room. Metro station is just around the corner. Comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Strong wifi. However building property is bit old and interiors need some renovation. But overall recommended.
The room was perfect, big and recently renovated. They upgraded us to a suite so I don't know how good are the standard rooms. But it was impossible to sleep! There was no sound isolation and we could hear the bathroom of the neighbor room. From 6:30in the morning the personnel of the hotel started moving disks, trolleys bottles etc etc, making a lot of noise. A carpet in the hallway could absorb a part of it, but the rooms need isolation and better doors! Breakfast was medium. No value for money. Good location, good parking facilities but expensive.
The hotel is very nice and is situated close to the city center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a typical business hotel. There are rooms for smokers which is great. My room was on the first floor and in front of it there is a ramp, so sometime it's very noisy. However I enjoyed the stay at this hotel. At the end they charged me for few lunches which I never had and didn't answered to my assistant's e-mails after that, but what to do... probably the question of mentality. So, just be careful.
Nice hotel, spacious rooms and affordable prices. It is very close to the metro, so you can easily get to the city center. The staff was very helpful with different information about the city and surrounding areas.
I have to say this hotel was perfect in every way very clean very freindly english speaking at the reception good food would advice this hotel fir family also buisness all round top hotel close to milan centre breakfast included very good selection well worth the money
We stayed at the Business Palace whilst attending the Milan Junior Camp day. The hotel is good with spacious rooms and helpful staff. Breakfast was a choice of things (inc green beans?) and we found it very good. Transport into Milan is VERY simple. A day ticket was 4.50 euros and is valid 24hrs. Metro is a 5 min walk from hotel and is very efficient. Never felt unsafe at all. We also travelled on metro to San Siri Stadium for an 8:45 match and, again, had no problems. If you don't want to eat in hotel there are some nice little restaurants and takeaways nearby along with a mini market. Return taxi from airport was 172 euros, prebooked on line. Taxi to Vismara was around 25 euros. Would happily stay here again.👍
Good hotel and good price. Hotel is a little bit out from milan bit it is easily reachable because of metro @ 50 mt! Hotel is not new but is elegant and clean. Very great breakfast. Rooms clean atnd very spacious
The hotel was comfortable, buffet breakfast was good except the dining room staff clears your place setting if you get up for a cup of coffee. This happened multiple times, quite frustrating and when I finally spoke to the dining room manager, the woman manager responded loudly, and yelled at me (in the middle of the dining room with many guests) and said "it's your fault! You didn't leave your key on the table!" This may have left a poor impression on the entire hotel stay for me. We did not look forward to dining again there. Front desk staff and bartender were polite and helpful.
My sister and I went on this trip together. The most difficult part of our stay was locating the hotel. We took the underground 7 stops from Duomo, came up the right hand steps. Right in front of us is a restaurant, the hotel is right around the corner (in case someone doesn't want to be sent on an excursion). The hotel staff was as helpful as they could be. Dave at the front desk was outstanding he spoke English and was extremely helpful. Our night waiter was, sorry I didn't write his name down, he got me express at the breakfast buffet. Speaking of the breakfast buffet, we really enjoyed the yogurt and fruit, croissants and the orange juice and sections. The fruit was fresh. I think the whole buffet was really good, even the American coffee. The only area in the buffet that was inedible to me was the scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, which was lightly cooked and no sternos under them, which made it very cold. Otherwise, I and many other people was very satisfied with the buffet. Our room was nice, the beds were comfortable and the housekeeper did a great job everyday. We had room 246 from Feb 8 - Feb 12, 2017. The room faced the front of the building and it was not noisy. We found the shower very odd, there was a partial glass in the tub. There were no ice machines, so the bar tender was nice enough to give us some ice. There is a supermarket several blocks away, which came in very handy when we needed bottles of water, 59 euro, it started with an "L"and was pretty tasty. On the same block as the hotel, there is a tiny little pastry shop, worth stopping in. I would stay at this hotel again, wish it was so far from the city.
