Plus: The location is great. Just blocks from the beach and shopping. The lobby is lovely and the front desk staff are pleasant. The room was clean. They provide beach towels and chairs with Boucher Bros at the beach. Minus: The room was very spare with furnishing. It almost felt like a dorm. Although clean the bathroom was full of bad patch jobs in the tile and rusty stuff. The shower handle just spins around in circles and once you got it on it was hard to get warm water. The pools/hot tub areawas nice but there was a lot of debris sand and tree materia in the pools. The hotel towel chair covers were filthy and covered in food and other substances. When we went to have a swim after dinner it was very dark on the pool area and the hot tub wouldn’t work. Staff said there were no light and the hot tub had been broken “for awhile”. There is no bar or restaurant there which is unlike most other boutique hotels in the South Beach area. We got the impression that the hotel was under new management so perhaps they will make improvements. The odd thing is the managers a mans and woman were walking around talking to workers while we were at the pool. The just ignored when were were there. Usually management at any hotel greet their guests. The woman went from the pool to the front desk but never said anything. It set a weird tone. The price was right but unless they make a drastic turn around I think there is better in the area.

the receptionist, John, was extremely friendly and hospitable. The Hotel was a block away from the beach, where two beach chairs were provided to us with our reservation. It was also very close the south beach night life. The rooms were about what I expected, however the hotels proximity within south beach to the beach was convenient.

Was very good costumer service, very friendly. I came at the hotel around at 11am and of course the check in was at 3 pm and I had 2 rooms reserved and they gave us one room and I was very happy beacouse I could live my stuff. And I really enjoyed the whole week long.

Hotel it’s close to the beach. On the days I was there wasn’t no pool The told me they was on construction housekeeping just went to my room 1 day breakfast it’s only coffee and mini muffins other than that the other staff was nice. And the door man was so friendly and nice

I was pleased to say that after partying all night, I'm glad I can say that I stayed at a great hotel. My bed was amazing, throughout hotel it smelled amazing. It was very quiet . The staff was amazing

Excellent location. Close to beach . Walk to Lincoln mall road and many shops and restaurants. Clean and comfortable rooms

We booked our one night stay here last minute and paid way too much. This was our first time in Miami and we wanted to be close to the beach. Although the rooms have been partially updated, the bathroom was disgusting. It looked like the bathroom had not been cleaned for months. There was no way that I was going to walk around barefoot in that place. The first thing that we did that night was buy cheap flip flops that we could wear in the shower and around the room. To top it off, in the middle of taking a shower the next morning, the water stopped working (shampoo in my hair, etc.). We didn’t even get a little bit of our money back. Horrible experience at this place. By the way, this is the first review that I have ever written but it had to be done.

Went for a girls vacation - was a great hotel - clean room, staff was excellent - would highly recommend! Price was right!

I stayed two nights in a terrace suite, which was definitely worth the extra cost. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is close to the beach, Ocean Drive, and within walking distance to Lincoln Road. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel but there are plenty nearby. The hotel is right on Collins near 11th Street so it can be noisy but that is the same for any hotel in South Beach.

Why no refrigerator in room for 4 stars hotel???????????????????????????

Stood here last weekend. Super close to the main strip on south beach. If your looking for 5 star treatment, this isn't your place to stay. However, for what its worth to sleep and shower its perfectly fine. Had some minor setbacks with lack of towels, and oddly enough no fridge in the room. The hotel hallways have a musty old smell, and the beds are poorly made at times. But as soon as you hit Collins Avenue, the hotel setbacks are whisked away with the palm trees and Miami vibes.

Coming from NYC, waited for the lady to get off the phone for 5 minutes. Then she tells me that she they are sending me to another hotel couple of blocks away (further from beach). The excuse was that they had plumbing issues. A phone call, email or a message would have been nice. This was the first for me!

Decent hotel especially for the price. The location is the best part. The rooms are small. Wish they had microwave and refrigerator in the room. Wear flip flops in the shower. Overall not as bad as i was scared reading some previous reviews.

Overall i had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. I stayed for 5 days 4 nights celebrating my birthday/girls getaway. Everything walking distance is a plus. The only thing that was a lil upsetting is that there was never any sun in the pool area to tan or go swimming. Besides the no sun in the pool area, the trip was amazing.

My boyfriend and I stayed here Dec 7th-11th, 2015. The hotel is decorated very nicely. The staff was warm and welcoming. Included in your hotel fee are free water bottles, beach towels, and rental chairs at a beach about 3 blocks away from the hotel. Close to tons of restaurants and retail shopping. Walgreens very close if you need extra supplies or the cheapest beer in town. There are only a couple negatives about the hotel during our stay. The bar and restaurant were close for renovations so that was kind of inconvenient. We went in the hot tub one night and the water was very cold. I asked the concierge if he could turn up the temperature and he said that a lot of people complain that the water is cold but that it couldn't be turned up, not sure if that is due to management. All in all, a great place to stay.

It was excellent!!!!!!!! Very close to the ocean! Lots of restaurants around.

I will never stay at this hotel again and although I have no complaints against the staff because they were friendly. I stayed there for a 2-night stay for my birthday weekend. We paid for two rooms. The hotel sink would clog up and the light in the bathroom was out. My biggest complain was the 2nd room we had to let the staff know at least more than 4 times that the A/C was not working properly in which they offered us a new room on the last night but wasted an entire day complaining. And then to make matters worse my sister was in the hotel pool and when walking in she slipped on the floor and injured her back. No signs or floor mats letting know the guests the floors can get slippery. The staff is aware of this accident.

Everything was great! Staff, room service, everybody was very courteous, this will be my hotel next tume

This is a great location! Close to everything. Walking distance to so many places- restaurants, clubs, bars, the beach! Great staff. My only complaint would be that the hotel bar/restaurant doesn't seem to be open all the time. Maybe because its a smaller hotel? No big deal though because there are a number of places to go to close by. There is also a really convenient (yet overpriced convenience store) right next door. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The rooms aren't fancy- but you shouldn't be in your room that much anyway...it's South beach! Have fun!

Awesome hotel and staff. Would definitely cone back
