This is was my second time staying at this hotel but unfortunately this visit was just mediocre.
I arrived on 3/18 during the rainy chilly weather and when got to my room, the temperature was very low, somewhere in the 60s with the AC actively blowing. I tried adjusting the thermostat but nothing changed. I had received a welcome text saying I could call or text if I needed anything, so I sent a message asking how I could adjust the thermostat however no one responded. I actually sent 2 different texts on different days with no response. After waiting, I ended up calling the front desk. A staff member came to my room and turned the thermostat completely off. I explained that I didn't want it off, I just didn't want the cold air constantly blowing. I was told the system is centralized and that I could not control the temperature myself. That was frustrating because what is the purpose of having a thermostat in the room if guests can't actually adjust it to their comfort. It's either on or off.
Another issue was the outlet. The outlet behind the desk was low with an adapter making it inconvenient to use. The outlets by the bed are loose so my phone and laptop chargers kept slipping out. While the lamps do include charging ports, they're are outdated. With newer devices it would be much more helpful if the hotel updated them to include standard plugs or USB-C ports. Overall the stay didn't meet my expectations.
