This is a great option for a quiet boutique hotel that just steps from everything. Incredibly well-priced for the rooms, amenities and location--especially in high season. We stayed over Christmas week and had a room with a small balcony overlooking Collins Avenue. It's right next door to the Ice Cream museum and the Faena Theater. The decor is 30's Spanish Colonial and is an elegant nod to another era without feeling stodgy. The King room was large with plenty of room for the two of us to stash bags. Nice toiletries on offer as well as a Keurig and upscale mini-bar supplies. The on site cafe is relaxed and offers very good options. Someone is always available to make a latte or a cocktail that can be enjoyed on the front terrace. The "library" off the lobby is also a comfy spot to read or have a glass of wine. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The main FAENA is just a few steps away for an additional selection of top restaurants and an amazing spa. The boardwalk leading to the famous Miami beaches is just across the street. There's no pool. There is a construction site nearby but there is no work going on, so there was no issue with noise etc. The South Beeach district is a quick uber drive away.
Very warm welcome with complimentary cocktail. Our room had sea view but also road noise. Enormous furniture left limited space to move around. Bathroom quite basic. We used the beach chairs and this facility was excellent and very comfortable. Sadly breakfast on our last day was a let down. Tip, parking lot is opposite.
The level of service at the Casa continues to impress-very obvious that Faena manager Nicole is focused on quality customer service. On Sight manager, Armando-was delightful, efficient and helpful. Our accommodation was spacious and spotless-love the roof top patio for outdoor Yoga. Highly recommend this location.
We stayed at Casa Faena in Dec. 2017 to see what the rooms were like for an event we are planning in March. Casa Faena is a wonderful boutique hotel in the Faena District. The staff was amazing. Jerry upgraded us to a king suite with ocean view and bent over backwards to make our stay the best it could be. Alejandro and Leanette also provided 5 Star service. Adrian would not think of letting us carry a bag and provided great service. Great hotel to visit!!!
Loads of character... really beautiful architecture which adds a lot to a stay in Miami Beach. Most importantly, the service was great. Alejandro at the front desk is awesome and really went above and beyond. And even got us hot water from the tap and teabags at night, which really made our stay given my pregnant wife loves tea. This sort of personal touch is super special. Thanks!
I enjoyed our stay at Casa Faena the rooms were clean and nice. A few things I did not like there is no pool and you can't use the one for their main hotel just a block away, I think they should revise this policy. It's also not directly on the beach. I did like however that beach lounges towels and umbrellas are included that was nice. This part of the beach is very clean and family friendly. The lack of a pool or access thereof was a big negative for me.
I really enjoyed my stayed at the Casa Faena. The hotel is small but full of character and charm. After entering the hotel it opens up into a central sitting area surrounded by books. The check-in was easy, the concierge greeted us with a class of champagne. The rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean. The sink was outside of the bathroom which was a bit odd but not problem for us. The beach: There are designated chairs/umbrellas for Casa Faena at the beach directly across the street from the hotel. Its less than 5-min walk to the beach from the front of the hotel. Although not located on the beach but it does provided beach services (ie drinks, chairs, towels, etc), look for the red/white stripes umbrellas. The parking: Valet only, price is reasonable. Call for your car ahead of time to avoid the wait. Other amenities: There is a restaurant in the hotel that services breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is no pool. There is no gym but guest can used the gym at their sister property, Faena Hotel which is 1 block away. This place is good if you are looking for a quite getaway in Miami with beach access and services. You get most of the amenities of Hotel Faena without the higher resort fee. I definitely want to stay here again next time I'm in Miami.
We loved our Casa Faena experience from start to finish. It was easy to get to (we took the 150 bus from the airport and walked a block from the bus stop to hotel). It was an equally convenient location to stay at. We were warmly welcomed by Alejandro and Adrian (both friendly &hardworking). I left with a soft spot for the lovely &efficient Lianet. We've stayed at different 4.5/5star brands but this was literally the best hospitality experience, hands down. Here are some specifics: Our king room was charming but found it hard to sleep with Collins Ave traffic noise ~we were kindly moved to a quieter room at the back of the hotel the 2nd night. Beds were comfy. Ladies who cleaned our rooms were very good. The food in the hotel restaurant was really good; we had breakfast & dinner there several times. The price-point was excellent for Collins Avenue. We enjoyed drinks by Erik, the resident mixologist. Happy hour food & drinks are a (delicious) steal. The couple of little things that came up were dealt with in an air of true hospitality. We were both so impressed, we felt impelled to stay 2 nights longer than originally booked. Loved the feeling &size of this hotel; the Faena brand is beautiful but has a distinctly warm culture. The professional, hard-working, genuine, close-knit staff who represent the brand at Casa Faena are amazing. Thank you in particular: Alejandro, Lianet, Adrian, Erik, Michael (housekeeping mgr), Carmelita, the Casa Faena cooks and hardworking Faena beach crew! Definitely take time to explore the main Faena hotel, the Faena Art Forum and soon to open art-focused Faena stores next door.
Casa Faena is part of the group that developed the district Faena, located on Collins Avenue between 31st and 35th streets. It is a small hotel, built on a historic structure of the city of Miami and decorated in the colonial style. It does not have a swimming pool and although it is not on the beach, it only takes 2 minutes to reach it. For being part of the group Faena, you can use the facilities of the Faena hotel except the pool.
This was my first trip to Miami, and my companion booked the California King room. Having access to the rooftop at night was worth the extra cost. Alejandro and Adrian went above and beyond ensuring we enjoyed ourselves and our experience at Casa Faena. The beach was beautiful, and complimentary chair and towel service was a huge perk. Although we had access to many of the Faena amenities; the club dress code was ridiculous - we are literally on the beach, it’s weird shorts and T-shirt’s weren’t allowed. Either way, our stay was throughly enjoyable and I’d highly recommend the Casa Faena to everyone.
